The professional was thirty minutes late, answered in a hurry, absurdly pulled his hair to untangle it, burned his scalp with a brush, and the result was not the locks I asked for, but an almost uniform lightening.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Marquei pra fazer um teste de Mechas com a profissional Thais Costa e combinamos que se ficasse bom iríamos fazer meu cabelo no mesmo dia.
Realizamos o teste, que ficou perfeito. Porém ela disse que não iria dar mais para fazer naquele dia (dando prioridade para as suas clientes ricas) mas mesmo assim, eu concordei e remarquei para a quinta, que seria o único dia antes de viajar que poderia comparecer.
Até então estava tudo certo, eu estava muito animada pra fazer meu cabelo. Três dias antes do combinado ela me liga dizendo que não iria fazer o procedimento, pois a cor que eu queria não ficava bom no meu rosto. Ela queria fazer um cabelo sem técnica nenhuma e ainda queria cobrar extremamente caro por um procedimento com uma cor horrível, que eu não queria.
Só pra constar: eu queria um loiro dourado com a raiz esfumada escura, pois sou branca porém tenho as sobrancelhas escuras. Iria harmonizar perfeitamente com meu rosto.
Ela queria fazer somente umas pontas iluminadas avermelhadas, completamente diferente da proposta que eu queria.
Só que até onde sei, quem escolhe a cor é o cliente, o profissional segue o que o cliente quer.
Porém, ela simplesmente cancelou o atendimento em cima da hora, dizendo que não iria fazer meu cabelo, alegando que a cor que eu desejava não ia ficar bom, sendo que se ela tivesse me avisado isso antes, eu já teria marcado com outra pessoa, pois queria estar com o cabelo novo antes de determinada data. Foi uma tremenda irresponsabilidade e falta de cuidado com a cliente. Infelizmente são pessoas que se comportam como estrelas mas sem profissionalismo nenhum.
Ninguém merece ser tratado como um nada, mas mal sabe ela que teria condições de pagar muito mais, só que em um trabalho de excelência.
Mas de uma certa forma até agradeço por não ter dado certo, pois consegui encontrar um profissional de outro estabelecimento, que fez meu cabelo usando uma técnica maravilhosa. Fiquei super satisfeita com o resultado e com o cabelo loiro que harmonizou perfeitamente com meu rosto coisa que a Thaís Costa desacreditou, que na verdade provavelmente ela não sabia a técnica, porém não quis me dizer a verdade.
I made an appointment to do a strand test with the professional Thais Costa and we agreed that if it looked good we would do my hair on the same day.
We performed the test, which was perfect. But she said she wouldn't give more to do that day (giving priority to her wealthy clients) but even so, I agreed and rescheduled for Thursday, which would be the only day before traveling that I could attend.
So far everything was fine, I was really excited to get my hair done. Three days before the appointment she calls me saying that she would not do the procedure, because the color I wanted didn't look good on my face. She wanted to do hair without any technique and still wanted to charge extremely expensive for a procedure with a horrible color, which I didn't want.
Just for the record: I wanted a golden blonde with a dark smoky root, because I'm white but I have dark eyebrows. It would harmonize perfectly with my face.
She wanted to do just some reddish highlights, completely different from the proposal I wanted.
But as far as I know, the customer chooses the color, the professional follows what the customer wants.
However, she simply canceled the appointment at the last minute, saying that she would not do my hair, claiming that the color I wanted would not be good, and if she had warned me about this before, I would have already made an appointment with someone else, because I wanted to have new hair before a certain date. It was a tremendous irresponsibility and lack of care for the customer. Unfortunately they are people who behave like stars but without any professionalism.
Nobody deserves to be treated like nothing, but little does she know that she would be able to pay much more, just for a job of excellence.
But in a way I'm even grateful that it didn't work out, because I managed to find a professional from another establishment, who did my hair using a wonderful technique. I was super satisfied with the result and with the blonde hair that harmonized perfectly with my face, something that Thais Costa didn't believe, that in fact she probably didn't know the technique, but she didn't want to tell me the truth.

Even though I could not speak a word of Portuguese, they worked with me to get my hair, makeup, and nails exactly how I wanted them to look for our Engagement photo-shoots. I went to them on two separate occasions, and each time they did a fantastic job. My hair and makeup withstood the elements and stayed perfect all day long. I genuinely wish I could fly them to the U.S. to help me get ready for my wedding. I will definitely visit again when in Brazil.

My hair needed a lot of help after forgoing a cut for months and a friend I was staying with in Salvador recommended Espaço Performance because of the professionalism of the hair salons in the complex. My appointment with senior stylist Ricardo was fantastic! He listened carefully to my ideas, questions and requests about how I could save my hairstyle, culminating in providing an experienced, succinct consultation which made me confident to go with his recommendations.
Despite usually having a bit difficulty communicating what I want for my haircut with salons back in Australia, I was ably assisted in translating my conversation with Ricardo from English to Portuguese by the wonderful business owner, Fernando, who made me feel very much at home at his business. The result was above all my expectations. You won’t be disappointed!
