Sua construção deu-se após a construção da linha ferrea de sobral, segunda cidade do Ceará a receber tal feito. Minha experiência na Estacao de Ipu foi maravilhosa, pois tive a oportunidade de levar alunos do ensino fundamental II, especificamente do 9° ano para conhecer e entender um pouco sobre a história. Ressalto, apenas a nível de curiosiade, que atualmente a biblioteca municipal esta localizada exatamente dentro da estação, onde também se encontra exposto os antigos instrumentos musicais de Lázaro Freire.
The Railway Station is a historical patrimony of the City of Ipu, had its inauguration in 1894. Its construction took place after the construction of the iron line of sobral, second city of Ceará to receive such feat. My experience at Estacao de Ipu was wonderful, because I had the opportunity to take students from elementary school II, specifically the 9th grade to know and understand a little about history. I emphasize, only at the level of curiosity, that the municipal library is currently located exactly inside the station, where the old musical instruments of Lázaro Freire are also exposed.
