Eventualmente, quando os católicos comemoram dia de Nossa Senhora da Conceição (dia 08 de dezembro) o local recebe festa, onde há o encontro dos terreiros da Cidade de Jaboatão. Os fiéis trazem perfumes, flores, desodorantes, comidas, bijuterias e até réplicas de sua imagem para atirarem ao mar. Os jangadeiros locais são os responsáveis por levar mar à dentro. Acreditando ou não, participando ou não... é crucial haver o respeito. Em alguns anos o evento traz festa considerável e beneficia a economia local. Acho que deveria receber uma maior atenção em termos de iluminação e infraestrutura à noite, pois poderia se tornar um local de prática de esportes pelos moradores locais.
Known location in Barra de Jangada. Eventually, when Catholics celebrate the day of Nossa Senhora da Conceição (December 8), the place hosts a party, where the terreiros in the City of Jaboatão meet. The faithful bring perfumes, flowers, deodorants, food, jewelry and even replicas of their image to throw into the sea. Local jangadeiros are responsible for taking the sea inland. Believing or not, participating or not ... respect is crucial. In some years, the event brings a considerable party and benefits the local economy. I think it should receive greater attention in terms of lighting and infrastructure at night, as it could become a place for sports to be practiced by local residents.
