Entretanto, o lugar não tem uma estrutura mínima para receber visitantes. O lugar tem potencial para o turismo religioso na cidade de Sousa - PB. Mas, atualmente está abandonado pelo poder público.
 The place is interesting to see, as we have a notion of the religiosity of the Northeastern people and the figure of Friar Damião.
