Sorocaba College of Technology will celebrate its 50th anniversary in 2020, is a public (free) college of higher education, has degrees in Mechanical Design Technology, Mechanical Manufacturing, Polymers, Advanced Manufacturing, Metallurgical Processes, Biomedical Systems, Logistics, Automotive Electronics and Analysis and Development Systems. Opens your entrance exams 2 times a year. It has a beautiful and very large campus, all surrounded by woods and animals.

Ela é uma boa opção para aqueles que querem começar a vida estudantil superior, podendo eliminar matérias de cursos em outras faculdades consideradas "melhores". Se graduando em Fabricação Mecânica, por exemplo, você teria que fazer apenas dois anos de Engenharia na UNIP.
It's a reasonably easy public college to get into to continue your studies, but it has older equipment than other colleges nearby in Sorocaba. It is a good option for those who want to start higher student life, as it can eliminate subjects from courses at other faculties considered "better". Graduating in Mechanical Manufacturing, for example, you would only have to do two years of Engineering at UNIP.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Faculdade de Tecnologia de Sorocaba was established in 5/20/1970 by the then Governor of the State of São Paulo, Dr. Roberto Costa de Abreu Sodré. It was the first top-level public school in Sorocaba.
The first school day in Fatec Sorocaba took place on 6/7/1971, on the premises of the current Etec Rubens de Faria e Souza with 66 students who began their studies in the Upper Course of workshops, currently in Mechanical Manufacturing Technology.
In 1973 he settled on its current campus in the high of Boa Vista, in a space of 174,000 m ², including 20 1000 m ² of Atlantic forest, one of the last remnants of this type of vegetation throughout the city.
Currently has constructed area of 9,456 m ² including classrooms, laboratories, workshops, library, administration, cafeteria, locker rooms, maintenance and gatehouse.
Considered, according to the Ministry of education evaluation (IGC 2009), the best of Brazil's Technology College, the institution has eight undergraduate courses in technology: analysis and development of systems, automotive electronics, Mechanical Manufacturing, logistics, polymers, metallurgical processes, mechanical designs and Biomedical Systems.
In addition to the internal courses that are offered to students, the College of technology encourages in its continuous development, is participating in Exchange programs and scientific research, or promoting events for the academic community and in General as the Week of technology, symposiums and conferences.
