Best preserved and most amazing coffee farm I have visited. The owner received the group with a lot of receptivity and attention, passing on all the details and serving snacks at the end. Really a time travel. It exceeded expectations. A must visit for Rio das Flores / Vale do Café Region.

An extraordinary place, I felt in a period soap opera. The owners are very friendly and were kind enough to open the house that is their home to tell us a little about the beautiful history of the time (and one of the greatest riches that our country has ever produced, the coffee).

Já tive a oportunidade de visitar diversas fazendas históricas pelo Brasil a fora, mas a Fazenda Paraízo está no Top das mais bem conservadas e belas. A visita guiada pela Simone, proprietária da Fazenda, foi fabulosa. Cheia de história e aprendizados. E ainda teve um cafezinho no final. Vale à pena a visita.
Mandatory visit for visitors to Rio das Flores. I've had the opportunity to visit several historic farms throughout Brazil, but Fazenda Paraízo is in the Top of the best preserved and beautiful. The guided tour by Simone, owner of the Farm, was fabulous. Full of history and lessons learned. And there was even a cup of coffee at the end. It's worth the visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a very well preserved farm from 1845 that used to produce coffee. The first owner was Domingos Custódeo Guimarães or Viscount of Rio Preto (Black River Viscount). The actual owners belongs to the second family of owners of this farm. Mrs. Simone and her husband keep the place preserved as it was in the century the farm was built. Everything is kept original, the furniture, the paintings, decoration... Is like going in the past. I can say it is one of the best preserved farms from the time that coffee was considered an investment good as gold. To visit this farm, you have to schedule your visit by phone. The price is about US$10.00, it is not expensive due to the knowledge of the owners about the farm history and their sympathy. It is easy to find a place to park in the farm, don't worry about this.
