At the Glória vice fair you can buy almost everything you need to prepare a nice lunch or a Sunday dinner, or if you are looking for a good meal with family and friends or just to cure your hangover, the fair offers a wide variety that will leave you you jaw dropping. It is worth mentioning one side of the fair where there is Peruvian, Japanese and Chinese cuisine to the sound of good samba de roda.

I had a horrible acarajé for R$20.00. Totally cold (and it wasn't even 1:00 pm) the Pepper tasted just like sauce, and all the rest of the content was very bad. I don't know which stall I went to (this stall also sells vegan acarajé) but in my haste I bought the first one I saw, took three bites and simply threw the rest away. Really bad! And look, I don't complain about food, huh, I eat absolutely everything.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Adoro ir a fera da Glória! Produtos fresquinhos. Aves, carnes, pescados mariscos... As flores. Frutas verduras... paea mim a melhor feira ão ar livre. Super recomendo!
I love going to the beast of Glory! Fresh products. Poultry, meat, fish, seafood... There's your Oyster Ze... Not to mention the thrift stores. Pastry or sugarcane juice. The flowers. Fruits and vegetables... for me the best outdoor fair. And then that lunch washed down with that cold choop... Best way to start my Sunday is the Glória fair. Thank you all! I highly recommend!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ True Paradise to those street market lovers like me. It happens every Sunday from around 8am to 2pm. Here you will find a huge variety of fruits, vegetables, fish, typical Brazilian food, books, clothes (used and new), antiques, kitchen accessories and much more! So colorful, super crowded but a great experience of a true Brazilian free street market. Whenever I go the one thing I cannot leave without is a "pastel e caldo de cana" which is a fried puff pastry filled with either cheese, grounded meat or chicken and to drink a sugar cane juice (try it with a squeeze of lemon - it's delicious). If you're in Rio, I'm a local guide here. Feel free to get in touch with me through any social media: @DEBOMZAI
