★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The beach was dirty, and the food was expensive compared to other beaches. The sun disappears early behind the buildings which almost immediately reveals why this place is called Cabo Frio. If you don't mind all if this, and want restaurants close by, then this is your place. If you want a clean beach and more quietness, take the car or bike for 5 minutes and go to the Praia das Dunas, whuch is next to Praia do Forte.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ clear water smooth sand and nice beach to chill out with your friends specially on low season. Don't come on high season because together with you plenty of people from the outskirt will come too and that sucks. You will hate this. Don't give even a try!

It's a beautiful place for tourism because you can enjoy not only this beach itself but also the fort and a lot of interesting thing around it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ In my opinion, this is one of the best beach in Brazil. The sand is clear and fine with a long distance from the sand until it reaches a greater depth. The water is usually clear with many shades of blue and green. Generally the water is cold but the sun will warm you rapidly. It's possible to find good local foods like "cucus", coconut water, ice cream etc. Nice beach to have great moments with your family.

The water is great! The atmospheres amazing, always some music and people dancing around.
Lots of food types and drinks are sold on the beach so you don't need to bring anything.
