Difícil acesso por terra, chega a ser perigoso.
Um dos fortes mais antigos da região , do século 16.
Tem muita história na baixada santista perdida para o descaso....uma pena

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excelente local para um passeio turístico. Referência histórica do Distrito de Vicente de Carvalho - Guarujá, os mais idosos, pessoas nascidas nos anos 40/50 dizem que nesta época auxiliou muito no tráfego dos navios do porto de Santos, o maior porto da América Latina.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Infelizmente não é aberto ao público, hoje se encontra um depósito da receita federal vigiada por segurança armados que tomam conta do local.
Toda a estrutura histórica está em abandono pelo governo. Fica na última rua a direita para quem vai para o terminal marítimo de passageiros de Guarujá a Santos, já no final da rua que é asfaltada vc pode ver parte da fortificação militar do tempo do Brasil colonia.
Unfortunately, it is not open to the public, today there is a deposit of federal revenue monitored by armed security guarding the place.
The entire historical structure is being abandoned by the government. It is on the last street on the right for those going to the sea passenger terminal from Guarujá to Santos, at the end of the street that is paved you can see part of the military fortification of colonial Brazil.
