It's an amazing place! There are a great staff, food and drinks! You should try the caipirinha of cashew, lemon and rapadura, it's f....... delicious!!!!

Cool music and decor, and somewhere that offered gluten free and vegan options. Well presented food, and great service from the young men. The chickpea and beetroot burger came minus the beetroot was good so I went back a second time and had delicious falafel and then banana macaque. Both quiet nights of less than a dozen diners. I returned again on a Saturday night and was incredibly disappointed, not only by the service, the food but also the attitude of the owner. I waited for over an hour for my starter which in an organised kitchen serving 75 covers should have been in front of me in less than 20 mins. With the relaxed nature of the Brazilians in the North East, it should have been in front of me in less than 35 mins. Empty plates, glasses and bowls were piling up whilst the manager sat drinking wine with her friends, oblivious to the pressure her waiting staff were under. Eventually my waitress came over and apologised for the wait, and told me my food was coming. After 90 mins my starter arrived, along with more apologies from my waitress. I was hungry and so agreed to stay and wait for my main dish: Vegan Gluten Free Pad Thai with rice noodles. It arrived within 15 mins, but the noodles were not even close to being cooked. The owner is still sat with her friends drinking wine offering no support or direction to her team at all, whilst more dishes, plates and glasses are piling up waiting to be dealt with. When I call my waitress over to deal with my uncooked meal, the owner realises there is a problem, and avoids dealing with it, trying to stay away from the problem as much as possible. Eventually the owner hurries over, takes my plate, and offers to make another one, before making a peacocks display to her friends with whom she's been drinking wine with. She returns a few moments later and instead of apologising she starts to blame me for the uncooked food coming out of her kitchen and how she will do her best for me. At this point I'm sat in total disbelief that a restaurant owner, and a chef, could allow uncooked food out of their own kitchen only to blame the guest for the food being uncooked. I'm glad I don't eat meat, fish or eggs because by now I might be getting acquainted with toilet. Obviously drunk from the 5 glasses of white wine I've seen her drink, the owner then gets up right in my face, with a mix of more apologies and blame before disappearing into the kitchen. I'm sat in total disbelief at this point but intrigued as to how the evening will play out. I've been told I won't have to pay for the food, and another glass of water is brought to my table by my waitress, who is still apologising. 20 mins later my food arrives, this time its cooked, and the manager almost throws the plate down in front of me before telling me 'I did my best OK?' and disappears. I eat it because by this time I'm really hungry, but it doesn't resemble anything like a Pad Thai and to be honest I have no idea what the flavour was supposed to be. To round off the evening I'm presented with the bill, after I've been told I didn't have to pay, and there's not even a discount! Needless to say, I won't be going back again.

Great atmosphere, the food is amazing and the prices are OK. Would come back!

A gem of a place! Our first night in Gostoso, and we couldn’t have landed in a better place. Excellent decor with so much character. The owner greeted us with so much hospitality and basically took care of the full order. The food was divine, and the wine superb. Highly highly recommended ??

A nice restaurant with a good vibe. The main course was one of the best meals I have eaten in a long time, and was presented in a very nice way. From the negative side it took a very long time before we got the food served. The dessert was also quite dissapointing after the good main dish, with a cake/brownie having the consistancy of rubber.

The vegan moqueca was good, a very big portion, I took half of it to go. The vegan burger was disappointing, especially for the price and not coming with any sides apart from two fries.
