★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As an almost new hotel from FIFA World Cup days, the full fledge Holiday Inn (not Express!!) was far from able to cope with the high occupancy rate. Feels more like a Holiday Inn Express...or at times worse.
No recognition or separate check-in for Ambassador / Platinum Elite members.
Staff
- continuously allow interruptions from people just jumping into front desk queue while serving guests, and answering the questions instead.
Concierge
- None. This could have help with guests questions.
Lifts
- Only 2 small lobby lifts that could hardly cater to the high occupancy
- worse when 1 keeps breaking down
Room
- Room not housekeep properly
- Missing towels and amenities
- requested for missing towels 3 times throughout the day at Reception but nothing happens. Each time was promised its coming. Had to stand at Reception at almost midnight to see Reception staff is asking someone to bring before it happen.
- despite an upgraded room, it feels more basic and worse than a Express I have stayed previously.
Breakfast
- Due to the torch relay and other events, breakfast room was so messy and with not enough food, tables not cleared....
Overall
Very disappointing experience through my 2 nights stay

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bad cleaning and preparing of the room. They even forgot the pillow cover. Air conditioner in need for some maintenance and cleaning. The worst of all was the room service. After more than 1 hour of waiting, for a dish that would take 20 minutes, they sent me an incomplete dish (missing several ingredients that were in the menu). After asking them to fix it, they sent me the meal way overcooked, and the meat was beyond repair, even if I liked super very well done (asked for medium rare). I shall never again be staying in this hotel.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Holliday Inn is a very good option when in the city of Natal. I enjoyed the overall experience but there are a few things that could be improved. Laundry takes way longer than promised to be returned and there are no vegetarian options in the in-house restaurant. Other than that, I had a very good stay/

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I'm a native from the city. This location is perfect. The hotel is good enough compared to hotels we stay in the US. AC is good, bed is conformable and breakfast was so so. Overall a great experience for the price.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's an excellent hotel by Natal Soccer Stadium. The room is very nice and tidy. The bed is really comfortable and there is a work area if you need. Breakfast is very nice and there are many options. Receptionists are very kind and polite. Not far from the the hotel there is a shopping mall. It's a very nice hotel to stay in.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was there for an event, so my contribution here is regarding the ability to host events of this hotel. The rooms were spacious and the chairs comfortable. The location was very good but lacked parking spots near. Extremely neat restrooms, cleanliness, and overall organization. The only bad part was the water provided by the hotel. It was never cold. I know it is related to quantity of people on the event, but being Natal a tropical area, it would be nice to figure this problem out.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice for someone who is traveling for work. Good bedroom, nice space and bed. Sheets were clean and soft and pillows were just right. Central air conditioning with thermostat, alarm clock next to the bed, iron in the bedroom. Bathroom was not so clean, shower was not heating much, I tried several times and waited to get warmer but water just stayed lukewarm, more or less 22 C. There is no minibar products in the room, you need to ask for in front desk.

Pros:
Easy to move around the city, easy parking, clean rooms, good soundproofing.
Cons:
Front desk overall were amazing but the paperwork required by the hotel are overkill, genitor staff not very friendly, food and beverage staff amazing but food quality very poor, food only breakfast worth it
