★ ★ ★ ★ ★ World class hospitality in another property of the Fasano group. Laid-back luxury right off a beautiful beach in Angra dos Reis. Delicious food and plenty to do: right at the beach, renting a boat or going for hikes into the forest (including a lovely waterfall). The condo where the hotel is located also offers tennis courts and a great 18 hole golf course. Such a wonderful place!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I can't give too much details, because I didn't spend a night there. But the infrastructure is very good. There's a Bakery that has amazing stuff to eat.
I don't recommend going before 9:00 Am because the sun hit you directly and they don't have all the stuff organized to sit with confort.
But speaking of the Fazendo breakfast, if you are just passing by , get early, before 8:30 or you risk not been able to eat there. This is about the weekends when it more crowded, not sure how it will be usually and out of the pandemia.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Main restaurant was disappointing for their reputation, worse, the quality of the drinks served by the bar outside was simply insulting. I cannot recommend it. The prices in general were exorbitant. Despite all of this, the service was indeed standard of any Fasano Hotel. I have to include that this review was done amidst the pandemic, nonetheless I am still disappointed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is an amazing hotel, like all its Fasano sisters, with beautiful design, sparking clean rooms, great food, friendly and professional staff and those views. It has three big pools, which is great, an incredible fitness center, and inside the hotel are located many stores, yacht rental spots, cafes etc. the food is amazing and it was a great surprise that dinners and breakfast were both included in price (at one restaurant).
As for the location, it is superb, with its private beach, all within a very secure and private area.
We made a mistake of traveling by car from Rio de Janeiro, since I didn’t do my research and didn’t realize there were flights from São Paulo. So definitely don’t repeat my mistake! That car ride was quite ugly, long and dangerous.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Disappointed. It is a five-star hotel, with amazing facilities and incredible infrastructure. Furthermore, Its minimalist architecture is made of appropriate furniture. Bedrooms are spacious and for breakfast, you can have varieties of fruits, bread, and cakes, as well as other stuff on demand. On top of that, there is modern equipment in the gym, and the spa is very special. Children have activities all day and there are others for adults as well, such as walking, tracking, bike, and standup pedal. However, despite the highest degree and status that the Fasano brand brings up, the service hardly lives up to what a guest may expect from such an experience like that, which doesn't match its trademark. It looks like the staff is not enough trained and prepared to serve people who pay astronomical fees to have the best of what this chain has to offer. When you ask something to bartenders and waitresses, they take ages to serve you and have a hard time comprehending orders. For instance, I asked for a mixed egg during breakfast and a couple of times I had to confirm many times what I want. Also, they always try to push more expensive things to you without making it clear what is and isn't included. There was an episode that struck me when I saw a member of the staff of one of the restaurants mistreating a guest only because he had forgotten wearing a mask, while you can see throughout the hotel a bunch of people doing the same and not being told off, which can be taken as badly as some kind of prejudice. And finally, communication with guests is poor and the organization is much under what it is supposed to be in a place like that. Everything is too much expensive for a customer to have any kind of issue like that. If it was about a four-star or another five-star brand ok, nevertheless I would never have expected this in a FASANO hotel.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stayed for 2 nights, extremely disappointed.
After notifying the hotel I'd be arriving by car with a 1 year old baby, they failed to notify me that the road to the hotel was blocked. I stayed 2 hours in a standstill for the road to clear, the work being performed on the road was scheduled and the hotel knew.
After checking in the disappointment continued, calling for reception, laundry, room service several times to no answer.
Their "included" dinner, charges 30 reais per person for a basket of bread. The free dinner can't be taken to go, even if you have a 1 year old baby to watch in your room, during a storm where the electricity was gone (room had electricity go on and off more than 6 times during our second night). I then decided to order room service for my wife and I. Only one plate of food was delivered because the room service concierge had a miscommunication with the kitchen. My wife and I each had to have dinner on our own, 1 hour and a half apart.
The rooms bathroom ceiling shows cracks.
Simply not what you would expect from a so-called 5 star hotel.
