A história deste bife de carne moida começou no fim do século XVII, quando tribos nômades da Ásia Ocidental desenvolveram a técnica de temperar a carne bovina, finamente picada, a fim de evitar seu perecimento. Marinheiros alemães que faziam a rota do Báltico conheceram a receita, porém, torceram o nariz para a carne crua. Levaram, então, a idéia para casa, mas passaram a cozinhar a carne. O sucesso foi tal que rapidamente virou um prato típico da culinária alemã.
No século XIX, quando a América recebia seus novos descobridores, os navegadores que partiam da cidade alemã de Hamburgo traziam a tradicional receita, que recebeu o nome de hamburg style steak (bife ao estilo hamburguês).
Os americanos aperfeiçoaram a receita, acrescentando o pão. Hoje, o hambúrguer é um ícone da culinária americana.

Don't get me wrong, if you like LOADS of Cream Cheese or Onion Rings with your burger, you will like this place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The best burger ever of São Paulo. Is not expensive and very delicious. The meat blend is tasty. I recommend X-Burguer, X-Salada and X- Cebola versions, but they have a lot of other options of burgers and sandwiches.
