Foi muito agradável a visita e o tempo partilhado com Iago. Ele nos mostrou com detalhes o lugar, contou histórias, trouxe dados históricos e científicos, além da sua leitura sensível do lugar. Foi muito enriquecedor!

We met Iago in Serra das Paridas - Chapada Diamantina. He was the guardian and guide of the site, which houses cave paintings and other historical records of the region.
The visit and the time shared with Iago were very pleasant. He showed us the place in detail, told stories, brought historical and scientific data, in addition to his sensitive reading of the place. It was very enriching!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Primeiro Iago levou a mim e uma amiga até a Serra das Paridas. Já tínhamos lido sobre o local, mas nao sei por que razão muita gente desconhece. Passeio obrigatório para quem estiver na Chapada Diamantina, a Serra das Paridas é de uma riqueza na grandeza e no detalhe, como aliás, é a própria Chapada. Me fez pensar que deve haver muitos sítios arqueológicos ainda não descobertos. Mas este é impressionante. Quero voltar ali com certeza em uma próxima oportunidade com minhas filhas, porque é o tipo de passeio que une beleza, aventura e informação. Também degustamos uma cachaça deliciosa e compramos artesanato local. Apaixonado pelo que faz, Iago fez da visita uma experiência memorável porque ele tem muito conhecimento sobre o lugar e tb sobre a Chapada como um todo, história do Brasil, da África e economia local. Acabei marcando de jogar búzios com ele, que foi uma vivência de muito respeito ao oráculo e reflexões que seguiram e tenho certeza que seguirão por muitos dias. Terminamos a visita degustando as incríveis criações da Casa da Geleia, que consegue traduzir em aromas e sabores a riqueza dos frutos da Chapada. Por fim, queria contar com Iago como guia novamente em todos os passeios possíveis, porque ele faz de qualquer lugar uma grande experiência. Se eu puder voltar para a Chapada, e espero que eu possa, com certeza está contratado.
First Iago took me and a friend to Serra das Paridas. We had already read about the place, but I don't know why many people don't know it. A mandatory tour for anyone in Chapada Diamantina, Serra das Paridas is rich in its grandeur and detail, as is Chapada itself. It made me think that there must be a lot of undiscovered archaeological sites. But this one is awesome. I definitely want to go back there in the next opportunity with my daughters, because it is the kind of tour that combines beauty, adventure and information. We also taste delicious cachaça and buy local crafts. Passionate about what he does, Iago made the visit a memorable experience because he has a lot of knowledge about the place and also about Chapada as a whole, the history of Brazil, Africa and the local economy. I ended up making an appointment to play búzios with him, which was an experience of great respect for the oracle and reflections that followed and I'm sure they will continue for many days. We ended the visit tasting the incredible creations of Casa da Geleia, which manages to translate the richness of the fruits of Chapada into aromas and flavors. Finally, I wanted to have Iago as a guide again on every possible tour, because he makes any place a great experience. If I can go back to Chapada, and I hope I can, I'm sure you're hired.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a perfekt day with Iago into the wild of Chapada Diamantina. After 2 days alone in the area we decided to take a guide who can show us some hidden places you can not reach alone. The famouse spots where very touristy and too crowded.
Iago was very friendly and knows a lot about the history and the nature of Chapada. We had a private tour which was very individual and respected all our whishes and the shedule of the Tour.
First we visited an area where people where looking for diamonds in ancient times. Then we entered an old and lost city in the jungle. That was really cool and we learned a lot about the history of Lencois and "Barro Branco" the old town. Afterwards we really entered into the Wild. Iago told us a lot about the plants we saw, and let us taste some wild fruits. A nice hiking in a wild and lost canyon was following, where we reached a spectacular waterfall. It was such a lovely place in the middle of nature and no other people where there. While we took a shower and enjoyed the place Iago prepared a small lunch, consiting only of local products.
We can really recommend going out for some adventure with Iago. We were comletely happy when we came back after such an impressive day in nature with such a good informend and friendly guy ;-)!
