★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Uma das mais belas e antigas Igrejas de Sobral, “Menino Deus”, foi fundada em 09.06.1810 por duas freiras: Emericiana de Sant’Ana e sua irmã Maria de Tereza de Jesus, terceiras Carmelitas professas que chegaram a Sobral em 1809, em companhia de seu pai, da família Lemos.
 One of the most beautiful and oldest churches in Sobral, “Menino Deus”, was founded on 06.9.1810 by two nuns: Emericiana de Sant'Ana and her sister Maria de Tereza de Jesus, professed third Carmelites who arrived in Sobral in 1809, in company of his father, of the Lemos family.
