A história da construção dessa igreja é uma forte ilustração da garra e busca por igualdade dos negros escravizados. Vale muito a pena a visita, ainda mais por poder contrastar esta construção, de características árabes, com a igreja ao lado, que é de características europeias.
Very representative place, which has been maintained and run by natives. The history of the building of this church is a strong illustration of the claw and quest for equality of black slaves. It is well worth the visit, especially because it can contrast this Arab-style building with the church next door, which is European in character.
