★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A Igreja Matriz Nossa Senhora da Conceição é parte da história da cidade de Conceição do Tocantins e também do estado do Tocantins. Construída no século passado, por escravos, ainda preserva boa parte da estrutura original, como as paredes de pedra e as telhas "cocha".
The Mother Church Our Lady of the Conception is part of the history of the city of Conceição do Tocantins and also of the state of Tocantins. Built in the last century by slaves, it still preserves much of the original structure, such as stone walls and "cocha" tiles.

It's a fine example of sacred colonial architecture, it's still pretty much intact, with some unfortunate patches like the belfry finish.
