★ ★ ★ ★ ★ . Após 8 meses de pandemia e sem frequentar nenhuma igreja decidi levar minha avó de 91 anos à missa e escolhi essa igreja por imaginar que estaria mais vazia e segura que na nossa própria cidade.
Gostei muito da igreja pelas cores, altar, simpatia dos fiéis e da paz que emana. No entanto, o que mais me atraiu foi , ao falar com o padre ao fim da missa , o mesmo nos revelou que ali há uma lasca da cruz que Jesus foi crucificado e esta foi encontrada por Santa Helena.
Fiquei feliz por ver a emoção da minha avó ao saber dessa notícia e a reproduzo aqui a fim de dar visibilidade a algo tão importante e também por , segundo o padre, boa parte da comunidade da cidade não saber ou não valorizar um fato tão emblemático.
. After 8 months of pandemic and without attending any church I decided to take my 91-year-old grandmother to Mass and chose this church because I thought it would be more empty and safer than in our own city.
I really liked the church for the colors, the altar, the sympathy of the faithful and the peace that emanates. However, what attracted me the most was, when talking to the priest at the end of the Mass, it revealed to us that there is a splinter of the cross that Jesus was crucified on and that was found by Saint Helena.
I was happy to see my grandmother's emotion on hearing this news and I reproduce it here in order to give visibility to something so important and also because, according to the priest, a good part of the city community does not know or do not value such an emblematic fact.
