Nele se encontra a imagem de Nossa Senhora da Natividade, santa Padroeira do Estado do Tocantins, possui dois sinos em bronze, datados de 1858. A imagem de Nossa Senhora da Natividade foi trazida, pelos jesuítas, para o norte da província de Goiás, em 1735. Foi a primeira a entrar nessa região, em embarcações pelo rio Tocantins, depois nos ombros dos escravos até o pé da serra onde se erguia o povoado denominado de Vila de Nossa Senhora da Natividade, Mãe de Deus, mais tarde São Luiz e depois Natividade. Inclusa no conjunto arquitetônico, urbanístico e paisagístico tombado pelo IPHAN. Natividade-TO. 11°42'34.8"S 47°43'24.8"W. Mother Church of Our Lady of the Nativity.
