Peço-te também por meus irmãos mais necessitados, pelos que sofrem e pelos oprimidos, pelos marginalizados e aqueles que, hoje, mais necessitam de sua proteção. Fazei com que nos amemos todos como irmãos e que no mundo haja amor e não ódio. Ajudai-nos a viver a mensagem de Cristo.
Vós, em presença do Senhor Jesus, não cesses de interceder a Ele, com Ele e por Ele a nosso favor ante o Pai. Amém.

“Ó, grande e bem-amado Santo Antônio de Pádua, vosso amor a Deus e ao próximo, vosso exemplo de vida cristã, fizeram de vós um dos maiores santos da Igreja. Eu vos suplico tomar sob vossa proteção valiosa minhas ocupações, empreendimentos e toda a minha vida.
Estou persuadido de que nenhum mal poderá me atingir enquanto eu estiver sob vossa proteção. Protegei-me e defendei-me, pois sou um pobre pecador. Recomendai minhas necessidades e apresentai-vos como meu medianeiro a Jesus, a quem tanto amais.
Por vosso mérito, Ele aumente minha fé e caridade, console-me nos sofrimentos, livre-me de todo mal e não me deixe sucumbir na tentação.
Ó Deus poderoso, livrai-me de todo perigo do corpo e da alma. Auxiliado continuamente por vós, possa viver na cristandade e santamente morrer.

I am convinced that no harm can come to me while I am under your protection. Protect and defend me, for I am a poor sinner. Recommend my needs and present yourselves as my mediator to Jesus, whom you love so much.
On your merit, He will increase my faith and charity, console me in my sufferings, deliver me from all evil and do not let me succumb to temptation.
O mighty God, deliver me from all danger of body and soul. Helped continually by you, may you live in Christendom and holy to die.
