★ ★ ★ ★ ★ “Lugar abençoado, de solo sagrado”! Só posso “tentar explicar” assim, essa Linda Capela. Ela sobrevive resistente e resiliente aos avanços urbanos - normais - à sua volta. Seu guardião maior, Padre Jairo Boussada já faleceu. Conhecida pela maioria por Capela de Santa Ermelinda, mas já passou por Mosteiro e Eremitério dos Trapeiros de Emaus. Mas, sempre foi um “lugar de silêncio para toda e qualquer pessoa ouvir melhor a voz de Deus.” A Santa que dá nome à Capela é de Meldert - Bélgica e celebra-se sua memória aos 29 de outubro. Com um estilo Barroco de uma imensidão de detalhes, tem imagens de Santos e telas simples, mas belas.

Its greatest guardian, Father Jairo Boussada has passed away. Known by the majority for the Chapel of Santa Ermelinda, but it has already passed through Monastery and Hermitage of Trapeiros de Emaus. But, it has always been a “place of silence for anyone and everyone to hear God's voice better.” The Saint who gives the Chapel its name is from Meldert - Belgium and his memory is celebrated on 29 October. With a Baroque style of immense details, it has images of Saints and simple but beautiful canvases.
