★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pense numa ilha linda. Fica ao lado de Belém e ainda não tinha conhecido, mesmo morando na capital.
Para ir pra cotijuba, você pega barco no trapiche de icoaraci. A prefeitura de Belém dispõe de um navio pra ilha. Ele sai todo dia as 9h da manhã e volta as 17h. A passagem é 3,60 (inteira) e 1,80 (meia), nos feriados esse preço sobe um pouco (7 e pouco a inteira e 3,60 a meia). Se você perder o barco da prefeitura, tem os barquinhos avulsos. Eles te cobram 7 reais e saem de hora em hora.
As coisas na ilha são bem acessíveis (consegue encontrar pf por R$15), ainda mais se você escolher uma pousada boa e barata (recomendo a pousada farol). Tem muitas praias e a mais bonita na minha opinião é a da flexeira: pense num paraíso na terra, tira o fôlego. E por mais que a praia da flexeira seja a mais bonita, as outras são maravilhosas também. A do vai quem quer e a praia da saudade são verdadeiros paraísos.
Não achei a ilha perigosa: fui com a minha câmera e não tive medo de sair com ela para filmar as coisas. Vale lembrar que carregava ela na minha mochila, não pode dar bobeira né.
Pra se locomover pros locais, você pode pegar um mototáxi. Pros locais mais distantes, é 10 por pessoa. Pros mais próximos, sai uns 5 reais. Uma dica: faça cara de que não vai fechar a corrida que eles diminuem um pouco o preço hihi
Minha dica é que você tente ir andando pras praias, vale a pena cada caminhada. Evite ficar gastando com Mototaxi: você vai economizar e ter vistas maravilhosas.
Think of a beautiful island. It is next to Belém and had not yet met, even living in the capital.
To go to cotijuba, you take a boat at the icoaraci pier. Belém City Hall has a ship for the island. He leaves every day at 9 am and returns at 5 pm. The ticket is 3.60 (full) and 1.80 (half), on holidays this price goes up a little (7 a little and the whole and 3.60 a half). If you miss the boat from the city hall, there are loose boats. They charge you 7 reais and leave every hour.
Things on the island are very accessible (you can find pf for R $ 15), even more if you choose a good and cheap hostel (I recommend the lighthouse hostel). It has many beaches and the most beautiful one in my opinion is the flexeira: think of a paradise on earth, it takes your breath away. And although the flexeira beach is the most beautiful, the others are wonderful too. Those who want to go and Praia da Saudade are true paradises.
I didn't think the island was dangerous: I went with my camera and I wasn't afraid to go out with it to film things. Remember that I carried it in my backpack, it can't be silly, right.
To get around, you can take a taxi. For more distant locations, it's 10 per person. Closer pros, about 5 reais. A tip: make sure you are not going to close the race as they lower the price a little
My tip is that you try to walk to the beaches, it is worth every walk. Avoid spending with Mototaxi: you will save money and have wonderful views.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ O transporte de passageiros é feito à partir do Porto de Icoaraci. Em barcos pequenos que vão bem lotados de hora em hora. Há dois maiores e melhores que são no primeiro e último horário. Ao chegar na ilha escolha a praia, há várias, e paga-se 10 reais pelo transporte que é realizado por charretes atreladas e bondinhos movidos por tratores, bicicletas ou motocicletas. O uso de carros só é permitido no caso de doença ou garantia da segurança na ilha.
A praia Vai Quem Quer é a mais conhecida possui algumas pousadas, com cabanas ou quartos para armar redes, que oferecem o serviço de restaurante. Leva-se meia hora pra chegar até lá sacolejando do início até a chegada. Foi bom conhecer mas é uma aventura, se quiser encarar prepare-se é muita missão. ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A Ilha de Cotijuba contém um ambiente natural exuberante com belíssimas Praia. As ruas são rústicas, porque não possuem asfaltamento. O meio de transporte é a Motor-Rete. Na entrada da ilha de Cotijuba você visualizar um antigo presídio em ruínas para jovens infratores da época (1933). Sendo o primeiro presídio do Estado do Pará.
Cotijuba Island contains an exuberant natural environment with beautiful beaches. The streets are rustic, because they do not have asphalt. The means of transport is Motor-Rete. At the entrance to the island of Cotijuba you can see an old prison in ruins for young offenders of the time (1933). Being the first prison in the State of Pará.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Para ir a Ilha tens que pegar um barco que sai do Ver O Peso (horários específicos) ou de Icoaraci (de hora em hora) por um preço acessível.Cotijuba tem várias praias mas gosto da Praia do Vai Quem Quer pois é muito boa pra tomar banho e existem várias opções de restaurantes/bares e pousadas.
To go to the island you have to take a boat that leaves from Ver O Peso (specific times) or from Icoaraci (hourly) for an affordable price. Cotijuba has several beaches but I like Praia do Vai Quem Quer because it is very good for shower and there are several options for restaurants/bars and inns.

Fomos e voltamos no barco da prefeitura (preço de passagem de ônibus urbano). Fomos a pé para a praia do farol (menos de 1km de distância do ponto de desembarque). Ficamos no restaurante Araras, pedimos um tira gosto que já ficou de almoço pela quantidade...se quiser q saia mais barato ainda, leve de casa sua refeição...
If organized, it becomes a quiet and very cheap tour...
We went and came back on the city hall boat (city bus ticket price). We walked to the lighthouse beach (less than 1km away from the landing point). We stayed at the Araras restaurant, we ordered a snack that was already for lunch because of the quantity... if you want it to be even cheaper, take your meal from home...
