★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A ilha é ótima , você tem que chegar cedo para ter uma boa experiência. O único modo de chegar lá é por meio de barcos de pescadores locais , que cobram bem baratinho. É uma ótima vista e uma boa opção se você quiser fazer um piquenique ou algo do gênero. Em minha opinião é um ótimo lugar para levar crianças. Eu não considero um ótimo lugar para ir só, pois como tem uma vegetação fechada você pode ser assaltado ( coisa que é bem menos provável em grupo). Em geral atendeu as minhas expectativas foi um bom passeio
 The island is great, you have to arrive early to have a good experience. The only way to get there is by local fishermen's boats, which charge very cheaply. It's a great view and a good option if you want to have a picnic or something. In my opinion it is a great place to take children. I don't consider it a great place to go alone, because as there is closed vegetation you can be mugged (something that is much less likely in a group). In general it met my expectations it was a good ride

Excellent place for a walk and river crossing. You must bring a chair and umbrella, oh and things to drink and eat!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Você consegue atravessar com 10 reais ida e volta. melhor momento é quando a maré tá seca, tem gente que leva bebida e comida já que lá não tem nada só a natureza. leva uma bolsa térmica e uns latão que tá tudo certo. só não esquece de recolher o lixo ;)
You can cross with 10 reais round trip. the best time is when the tide is dry, there are people who take food and drink since there is nothing but nature there. take a thermal bag and some brass that is all right. just don't forget to collect the garbage;)

A Ilha do Amor é linda, é reconfortante conhecê-la, deserta e sem infraestrutura comercial, fica numa região super valorizada e milionária. Suas praias valem a pena (desde o Paiva, até Enseada dos Corais), a ilha é, uma espécie de península. Do Pontal da Barra, da para atravessar de barco até a esta ilha, porém uma ponte foi construída ligando Barra de Jangada e a ilha, fora a rodovia que faz a ligação entre Praia do Paiva a Praia de Gaibu, no Cabo de Santo Agostinho.
Reserva florestal de Manassu
No Engenho Manassu, esta é uma das cinco áreas de reserva ecológica municipal, ela possui 264,24 hectares e rica em fauna e flora típicas. Sua área de proteção é integral, segundo decreto estadual de 1987, que deveria estar sob a responsabilidade e proteção da Companhia Pernambucana de Recursos Hídricos (CPRH). Por conta do impasse fundiária entre a Companhia Pernambucana de Recursos Hídricos e o Instituto Nacional de Colonização e Reforma Agrária, acredite, o decreto ainda não foi validado.
A região da reserva é cortada pelos rios Manassu e Mussaíba, com nascentes no município vizinho, São Lourenço da Mata e que são afluentes do rio Jaboatão. Eles encontram-se relativamente bem preservados. Os impasses entre os dois órgãos citados atrapalham a fiscalização desse refúgio, que perde das suas principais espécies encontradas: visgueiros, sucupiras, imbiribas, pau-ferro, urucuba, mungubaque que está sendo acabado pela extração de madeira em épocas de festas juninas.
Love Island
Ilha do Amor is beautiful, it is comforting to know it, deserted and without commercial infrastructure, it is in a super valued and millionaire region. Its beaches are worthwhile (from Paiva, to Enseada dos Corais), the island is a kind of peninsula. From Pontal da Barra, you can cross to this island by boat, but a bridge was built connecting Barra de Jangada and the island, apart from the highway that links Praia do Paiva to Praia de Gaibu, in Cabo de Santo Agostinho.
Manassu Forest Reserve
At Engenho Manassu, this is one of the five municipal ecological reserve areas, it has 264.24 hectares and is rich in typical fauna and flora. Its protection area is integral, according to the 1987 state decree, which should be under the responsibility and protection of the Companhia Pernambucana de Recursos Hídricos (CPRH). Because of the land tenure between Companhia Pernambucana de Recursos Hídricos and the National Institute of Colonization and Agrarian Reform, believe me, the decree has not yet been validated.
The reserve region is crossed by the Manassu and Mussaíba rivers, with springs in the neighboring municipality, São Lourenço da Mata and which are tributaries of the Jaboatão river. They are relatively well preserved. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A ilha do amor é um lugar muito lindo, ideal para visitar, bastante amplo, de frente para o mar, o acesso é um pouco complicado mas vale a pena a travessia, a paisagem natural compensa.
Recomendo pelo menos uma visita.
The island of love is a very beautiful place, ideal to visit, quite wide, facing the sea, access is a little complicated but it's worth the trip, the natural landscape is worth it.
I recommend at least one visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bom para ir na maré baixa. Levar guarda sol e bebida, pois não há vendedores. A travessia é rápida e tranquila, custa apenas 5 reais ida e volta. Apesar de linda, é um descaso da prefeitura pois não disponibiliza lixeiras. É importante que os visitantes recolham seu lixo. Tem muito plástico espalhado.
Good to go at low tide. Bring an umbrella and drink, as there are no vendors. The crossing is quick and easy, it costs only 5 reais round trip. Although beautiful, it is a neglect of the city hall because it does not provide trash cans. It is important that visitors collect their garbage. There's a lot of plastic around.
