This small(ish) two floor cultural centre maps the history of Brazil from pre-European times till the present day. A few eye opening exhibits... all in the accessible limits of Paulista Avenue!

The collection on Brazil’s history is beautifully curated and I particularly enjoyed its depiction of natural beauties. The space is neatly arranged and the cafeteria is also good!

Really great collection of antique coins. Paintings of slavery in Brazil. Sketches of bird, plants, and fish native to Brazil. It was free, clean, and air conditioned. I loved it.

It's a gem in Paulista avenue. The collection is impressive and unique in Brazil. It offers a view into the creation of the country trough paitings, objects, books, letters, coins, documents, etc. Curators did a great job.

This cultural center is rich. It’s totally not a waste of time. Firstly everything is written in English and Portuguese making it easy for foreigners to read and understand the culture of Brazil and the pre colonial era. It brought back memories of my history class. Secondly it’s totally free. No appointment needed just walk in.
