★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is such a cool building, at Paulista Avenue, with an amazing architecture for itself, even if it wasn’t for the exhibitions. The institute also have an amazing public library, a small bookshop, and the entry is free for most galleries. The archive of photography they have is incredible!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great looking art museum in Sao Paulo that's a must visit if you are in the city. The building itself is really nice looking and holds a library, a theater and four floors of exhibits. Entrance is free and you can explore at your own pace.
You can also grab a bit at Balaio downstairs

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The institute is wonderful. You can find desks to work and art exhibitions. There's also a nice view of the av. paulista. The restaurant in the ground floor is worth a visit. Proof of vaccination against COVID-19 is required.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a great, free, well maintained museu. The space is perfect for expositions and you get a nice view of Paulista ave. as a bonus. There are new, interesting expositions all the time. The restaurant there is also very nice.
