Mara Marques
bióloga do Depto Técnico Zoo SPBacharel em Ciências Biológicas pela Universidade São Judas Tadeu, Mara possui o título de Especialista em Zoologia no CRBio-1, atuando como bióloga na Fundação Parque Zoológico de São Paulo (FPZSP) desde 1992 na Divisão de Ciências Biológicas com enfoque em mamíferos.
Foi curadora do Setor de Mamíferos da FPZSP (2006-2010) e curadora geral no período de 2009 – 2010. Tem experiência na área de Zoologia, com ênfase em manejo. Atualmente é bióloga do Depto. Técnico da FPZSP e Presidente da Associação Paulista de Zoológicos e Aquários, administradora e registradora do ZIMS/Species 360 da FPZSP e representante brasileira do Sistema.
Ela também é Co-keeper do grupo de Leontopithecus perante ao ICMBio e consultora de manejo do Programa ex situ do Leontopithecus. Participou da revisão da lista da Fauna ameaçada para Mamíferos do Estado de São Paulo (2016), e atua no estabelecimento de ações voltadas à Política Públicas focadas na conservação ambiental no Estado (Política Pública do Estado de São Paulo), Comissão Pró-Primatas, Participou da elaboração do Plano de Ação Nacional do ICMBio para Onça parda (Puma concolor), pequenos felinos e mamíferos da Mata Atlântica Central.
Além disso, é coordenadora do Núcleo de Relações Interinstitucionais da FPZSP e membro titular da Comissão de Ética no Uso de Animais (CEUA) da FPZSP.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was quite impressive. For only R$10 you get really beautiful views, flowers and occasionally monkeys on the trees. It is a bit annoying trying to not disturb the photo sessions but it is easy to understand why people do photo sessions there. Definitely will be back with more time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful place, very good for kids, picnic, those who just want to relax on the grass and read a book, do yoga...
I've been going there for a while now. Love to get there just before lunch time, having lunch on their kilo buffet (very good by the way) and spending the afternoon enjoying the sun.

These are not botanical gardens in the traditional sense, they really aren't cultivating much of anything but there are a variety of really nice walking trails of various difficulty which allow you to enjoy native plant species in a more or less natural setting without having to leave the city. You can even enjoy watching a variety of local animal species such as monkeys, parrots, ducks, frogs, turtles, etc. if you get lucky.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A peaceful place to enjoy the day with family, as a couple, friends, or even alone. There is a pay entrance fee. (R$10,00). It doesn’t get wild as Parque Ibirapuera on Sundays, and you can take short hikes in the forrest. You are able to see the monkeys on the trees. If hiking is not your thing, you can enjoy yourself by the little lake, or check the plants on the greenhouse. It’s very relaxing park.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Entrance fee is R$ 10 per adult. Closed at 5PM. Very peaceful place to walk and take a rest. You can bring snacks to enjoy picnic here. Here is good to visit Sao Paulo zoo together.
