Agendei uma escova normal, cheguei no horário certo, demoraram para me atender e ainda tiveram a coragem de cobrar um valor maior do que combinado pelo Whatsapp. Eu só não chamei a polícia e fiz um BO porque eu tinha um compromisso e já estava atrasada pois não me atenderam no horário que tínhamos combinado.
Eu tenho certeza que nunca mais colocarei meus pés no salão novamente e jamais indicarei à alguém!
My experience was horrible. I scheduled a normal brush, I arrived at the right time, they took a long time to answer me and they still had the courage to charge a higher amount than agreed by Whatsapp. I just didn't call the police and did a BO because I had an appointment and was already late because they didn't see me at the time we had agreed.
I'm sure I will never put my feet in the salon again and never refer anyone!

In my quest to find the right salon for me, I had gotten a horrendous haircut somewhere else and decided to try JK in hopes of fixing it a few months later. Being a foreigner here and having few reviews to go off of, I browsed Instagram pages of a few nearby salons, and this one looked good. Not only are they not rudely expensive, I'm not quite sure how they can charge so much less than comparable salons. Though the stylist there, Robson, had very little to work with because my hair had barely grown out from the last cut, he managed to give me a beautiful cut that continued to maintain well over time. Yesterday was my third time going back, and he consistently delivers beautiful cuts that still look great, even when I'm due to trim my damaged ends every few months. The salon offers an all-around fantastic experience. All the staff are unbelievably kind, helpful, patient, and genuine. They all make sure I am well taken care of from the second I walk in until the second I hop into my Uber. The stylist is very attentive, takes one look at the few pictures I show him of what look I'm shooting for, and he manages to deliver my exact vision every time. He always consults with me about length or gives me one last chance to make sure I'm happy with the cut before setting me free, but he also executes with confidence and ease. At this point, I know I'm in good hands. Another plus is that they have and use all my favorite hair products. I also have never seen a person walk out of there with funky hair; it seems everyone's really pro.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I came here for a manicure and pedicure and speak only a little Portuguese. The ladies were kind to me and patient as I made my appointment. The salon is beautiful and very clean and a great price. I will definitely be back!
