Kitesurfer Heaven......comfortable and idyllic beach chalets right on the lagoon complete with kitchen and everything needed for long stays. No need for windfinder just lie on the balcony until the wind arrives at 11 every day. Set in a beautiful tropical garden with great Brazilian style breakfast. At the end of the day you can kite right to the gate ! Great kitesurfing host who can help with arranging downwinds too !

I tried Posada Gamela, KWW and Kitejuba. In my oppinion the best place to stay in tatajuba.´Each Bungalow has very nice details. Can recommend it to people how look for remote places, even on a remote place. The owner Luciana is great, she takes care of everything one needs. Breakfast is delicious and diversified. Afternoon can come a oysters boy, can also just recommend. Dinner can sometimes be taken in the Pousada but not everyday. But close to kitejuba is IslaKite-restaurant, what is the best restaurante in tatajuba. Only thing what is missing is a BeachBoy for starting and landing the kites,

The pousada is nice, but it's not the best choice for kiters. It's a long walk (10min or more) to acess the water at the ocean, and about 15min to the kite station at the lagoon. There is no kite storage (other than at the lagoon), and you'll have to bring everything including a pump, they don't have any equipment. We were a little surprised that no one spoke any English, luckily we could speak a mix of Spanish-Portugese to communicate. The owner was available via Whatsapp, but given the time difference between Europe and Brazil, we couldn't solve all problems right away. Our first apartment had a bad bug infestation (literally hundreds of termites came into the bathroom), but no staff was available. Thankfully other guests took their car to drive to the managers home to get the key to another apartment). Other than that, the apartments are beautiful and clean, the whole surroundings are well thought through. Good place to relax!

I spent a month in this paradise. The beautiful and comfortable bungalows are very well mixed into the scenery. If you kitesurf, you won't find a better place to play: the sun is always shining, the wind arrives everyday before midday 10 months of the year (and most days in the low season), you'll have knee high water right in front of the bungalows with high tides and a clear wide lagoon that you can see from your window. The place also features outdoors showers (bicas) with very fresh water. There's also a decent wi-fi connection, a gourgeous 360 degrees view over white sand dunes, beautiful creatures (colorful birds, lizzards, etc.). Luciana is a great host and she will provide you with room cleaning, great Brazilian breakfast with fresh coffee, fruits, juices, bread, cheeses, etc. There are very good local, native restaurants around the corner, with fresh local food and very nice people all around. If you're looking for a paradise, you have just found it!

I have traveled all around the world for kitesurfing and Kitejuba is the most amazing place I've ever visited. I stayed at Kitejuba bungalows for 10 days in October and everyday the wind perfect for kiting. Luciana who owns the bungalow is a very warm, hospitable and friendly person who also kitesurfs. Luciana and her staff are so helpful and every detail is thought about. Luciana picked me up from the airport and drove me to Kitejuba, as soon as I met her I just loved her positive energy and vibrant personality. The bungalows are absolutely beautiful and natural to match the surrounding nature and very eco friendly. The bungalow has a kitchen with stove, refrigerator, sink and is cleaned everyday. The refrigerator is stocked everyday with wine, soda and water you can purchase which was very convenient. The bathrooms are very beautiful and luxurious but still keep a very natural feel. Luciana is very talented with decorating and has a good eye for every detail. The bed was such a treat to come back to every night after a full day of kitesurfing. There is also a nice hammock on the balcony and an outdoor living area at the bottom of the bungalow. Each bungalow has their own outdoor living area which is quite nice to sit and enjoy the beautiful garden. Every morning a beautiful breakfast is made including cake, fresh fruit, fresh milk, fresh cream that was just boiled (such a treat), toast, bread, fresh squeezed juices, made to order eggs, and tapioca pancakes which are my favorite! Breakfast was one of my favorite times of the day, it's served a beautiful natural wood table in the outdoor dining room and was nice to always chat with the other kitesufers who were staying at the Kitejuba. Some nights there was a special dinner arranged by Luciana and her friend Dani. Dani is such a sweet and fun person and is also an amazing chef. She made the most delicious shrimp risotto I've ever tasted! Dani also made a passion fruit creme brulee that was amazing! The dinner's that were arranged turned into a dance party after and Luciana, Dani and their friends taught me to dance faro, a Brazilian dance. Kitejuba is located in Tatajuba, a small and beautiful village that is very safe. I was traveling alone and felt very safe staying at Kitejuba and made friends with most everyone in the village. It is such a warm and welcoming atmosphere. You can launch your kite right in front of Kitejuba and walk to the ocean and during high tide, the water comes right up to near the ocean front bungalow. There is no better place to kite than here! There is a good restaurant in front of the village where you can order, caiparinha's, fresh fish, acai, chicken and seafood. The food is very delicious and the staff is very friendly. Luciana also arranged a few downwinders for me and we took the buggy up the coast and kitesurfed back to Tatajuba, I highly recommend. Kitejuba is a very special place, not just because the accommodations are beautiful and the kitesurfing is amazing but Luciana and all her friends made my visit very special, they made me feel like family. I miss them very much and can't wait to visit again.

I spent 5 days in this paradise during August 2017 (with my wife, both kitesurfers), I stayed in the UpWind Bungalow (1st floor). There are no words to describe what you feel when you wake up with the sun and you have the sea in front of you, unbelievable landscape together with a sensation of freedom and relax….only nature around you! The room is really nice and big, all made by wood, there is also a small kitchen area if you want to cook something. Daily accurate cleaning, breakfast was super with handmade cakes and fresh fruit/juices. Luciana (the owner) is super kind providing you all the necessary comfort you need, including trying to teach me Portuguese  . Inside the area you have all the space to put your kite equipment and eventually to wash it. When there is full tide/full moon…..the lagoon in front of your room is also fully filled in and you can kite, otherwise there is the big lagoon going upwind. With a small walk on the beach you can also find some restaurants for dinner. During the night you can admire a really beautiful sky full of stars with no noises except the relaxing sound of the nature…..including blowing of the wind. Talking about the wind….every day from 11-12am starts to blow and during my stay was around 25/30kn….really every day! Epic flat water sessions! Definitively I will recommend this place, I left a piece of my heart there and I am looking forward to come back …hopefully next year!
