★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As people that live sushi, my wife and I have been to almost every Japanese restaurant in Santos. She is from here, and I'm an American expat.
You may not be able to tell from the picture quality, but this place does not serve tuna well. In fact, the salmon was not much better. The tuna was completely bloody, tough, and unpalatable. It was definitely stored incorrectly, as it had become sandy in texture. Salmon was extremely fatty, stringy, and slimy.
If you're a tourist, avoid this place. If you're local and read English, you should know there are a lot of other places that are less noisy, more attentive, and serve better cuts of fish.
For Kyuurai management, you should stop deleting facebook posts when someone criticizes your business. Feedback is paramount in progress. If you only let positive comments on your social media, you are no better than Lula and Co. Or even worse, Trump.
