★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good Bread, but if you order a Roast Beef sandwich, you will be asking "WHERE'S THE BEEF"??? The sandwich had very little meat. I have never had a Roast Beef sandwich with such little roast beef.. Beware American's not American portions.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The quintessential french cafe. Aesthetically speaking, it looks like something out of a French postcard. The food is good - the bread and croissants are of excellent quality. They have some good sandwiches as well. The espresso is as one would expect from a french cafe. The service is great and they do a fantastic job given their popularity. They are dog friendly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The most expensive media of Rio (for Brazilian standards). A real bargain for foreigners outside French bakery standards. All pennies and trouble to get there is worth it! Exquisite ambience, outstanding bread, butter and impeccable coffee. Breath taking views of the amazing Botanic Garden of Rio de Janeiro and The Christ Redeemer blessing all of us!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic cafe right by the botanical gardens. If you’ve traveled much in Europe this cafe really reminds me of Le Pain Quotidien - has a similar vibe and menu.
The sandwiches are so good, bread is amazing and the cakes looked to die for. Would definitely visit again and can see myself chilling out here on a Saturday afternoon very happily.
It’s worth noting the iced latte is not what you think...it’s a short coffee with ice cream top.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is the definition of the brunch concept. The architecture/decoration takes you to a Parisian cafe and the pastries and sandwiches taste like Europe.
I highly recommend my favorite choice: the montmarte sandwich! If you have a sweet tooth, go for this strawberry pie as well!
One tip: arrive early, like around 9:30ish. Otherwise you will have to wait for a bit.
