★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is an American-style laundromat, where you do the laundry yourself. That's nice when you need the clothing same day. Nobody spoke English when I was there, just so you are aware, but it's a laundromat so you can get by with just pointing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The only self serve laundromat we found in Brazil, unfortunately it was at the end of your trip but at least we travelled home in fresh clothes.
They even let us use the machines despite arriving late and finishing after they closed.
Very affordable when compared to Hotel washing charges with R$26 for a full load washed and dried.
Also the manager speaks some English and they have a price list in written English.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice, also for travellers who can't do their laundry in Hostels etc. Self service is just 30R$, cleaning + drying - in 1 hour it's all done. (also the cheapest one I found walking 2 hours around the Center)
