★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Terrible, avoid this place. Unfriendly, scammers. Booked a car online with Hertz, but in here the prices suddenly go up. Had to pay double for insurance. Asked for the manager, no reaction. Spent 45 minutes trying to get an honest answer. Got stories about this place 'localiza' being a different company than Hertz itself, but no reason for the prices. They refused to give an overview of insurance and coverage, I asked three times. Just left me standing there, without saying anything. They claimed to have upgraded the car, but clearly got the cheapest junk in the lot. They don't even do a preexisting damage check. I wonder what they're going to claim broke on this bucket of bolts when I return it. What a ripoff. Never again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Localiza has improved quite a lot in recent years. The procedures to rent a car is now much simpler and quicker. This agency’s staff is very professional and always with a smile on their face. Appreciated the several car upgrades i have gotten so far!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I really want to leave a good review for this location but the more we come here the more disappointed I am. The people who work here are professional and very nice BUT the service is inefficient and the majority of time the line to pick up even a pre-reserved rental car is out the door. God forbid you arrive to this location at the same time the shuttles from Congonhas arrive. Best advice, pre-reserve your car and be ready to wait for at least 30 minutes or more on line.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We reserved the car days begrote arriving in São Paulo. When arriving you have to walk and take a minibus from Localiza to take you to the office. About 5 minutes from the pick up spot. Arriving at the Localiza office we had to wait about 1 hour for the car to be ready. They didn’t have the car we reserved but they gave us a free upgrade.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 1) It took us 35 minutes to rent the car because the computer system broke down. Unfortunately, all the other clients could get their cars within 10 minutes, so the system at other desks was working?! Filling everyting out on paper was very unprofessional.
2) Wesley at Localiza Aeropuerto CGH said it was not possible to rent the car in the name of the company, which is important that I am not the recipient of the invoice privately. When giving back the car an experienced assistant told us it would have been possible to rent it in the name of the company, but later on they cannot change it anymore. Now I have to pay 150€ personally and do not get it reimbursed by my company. Renting a car is easy and fast all over the world - except for Localiza, this was the worst experience ever!
