Estou tentando tirar dúvidas para evitar imprevisto de atualizações e obter novas informações sobre está agência Localiza Ipatinga / MG mais não tem número de contato específico desta unidade, só me consta o número da central localiza em Confins / MG ??? Sei que o atendimento direto e pessoal e primordial e indispensável, Mas seria interessante obter algumas informações a mais das particularidades desta unidade... para evitar essa tau falta de informações das possíveis atualizações como um todo...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worst experience ever ! I always rented through Localiza but at bigger cities as Rio de Janeiro or Belo Horizonte. After My husband and I were an hour being asked even to show our flight tickets, passports and our drivers' license which we promptly did , (We are from United States visiting Brazil). And after being charged for almost a double security deposit for a cheaper car than the one rented at Belo Horizonte International Airport they wanted us to sign a paper NOT SHOWING A LOCALIZA BRAND on it and not even showing our contract number. And they were saying that we had to sign it to get the car. And the paper was stating that we authorize them to keep our 4,000 reias security deposit for 30 days!!! We weren't asked for something like that EVER before at any other LOCALIZA branch. We traveled a lot and we rented cars all over the world before. And for your full picture of the bad and poor service at Ipatinga branch of Localiza: We rented a car at Confins Airport and everything went smooth and no weird requests (like airplane tickets or papers that weren't part of the car renting contract).
It was a terrible experience and after having the feeling that they were trying to trick us and act in bad faith using the LOCALIZA HERTZ NAME, we decide to NOT RENT the car. And for our surprise they still charged our credit card and 3 days after NOT RENTING THE CAR we just received an email saying that they are renewing our contract and we've been charged in our credit card AGAIN for a car that never left their rental location.
Be aware Americans and other Tourists: LOCALIZA AT IPATINGA it's a scam!! Really poor service. Find another place and save lots of headaches!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ RETURNED A RENTAL IT WAS DIRTY WHEN I GOT IT SO I RETURNED IT DIRTY THEY CHARGED ME FOR A CAR WASH THAT COULD HAVE PAID FOR 15 CARS. SO WATCH OUT WHEN RENT HERE ON YOUR RETURN.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Long reservation process, charged cleaning fee when a cleaning was going to be done on the car anyways, and expensive fee to refill gas because there was no gas stations open at the time of our drop off (3am). Better to look at other car rental options before you’re robbed for every additional penny they can get from you
