★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Estive hoje lá. Aterraram metade do lago. As piscinas continuam como antigamente. A igrejinha que ficava no meio da subida principal, acabou, mas fizeram uma paróquia bonita mais lá pra trás, quase ao lado do antigo restaurante. O preço para se associar custa 90,00 trimestralmente, ou seja, 360,00 anuais. Perguntei ao porteiro se lá está tranquilo, ele disse que sim. Não vi ninguém lá, tudo vazio. Aproveitei para revisitar as grutas. Fizeram uma área para paintball também. Eu já fui sócio do várzea na década de 70, agora vou me associar novamente. Gostei da tranquilidade do lugar. Funciona de 3a a domingo a partir das 8h.

The little church that was in the middle of the main climb is over, but they made a beautiful parish further back, almost next to the old restaurant. They made a paintball area too. I was a member of the Várzea in the 70's, now I'm going to join again. I liked the tranquility of the place. Open from Tuesday to Sunday from 8am.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ O lugar parece abandonado. Quem é mais antigo no bairro diz que já foi uma maravilha, referência em Água Santa. Mas a atual realidade não é essa hoje em dia. Da pra ver que o clube tem potencial, é grande, tem lago, piscina, paintball, igreja, campo e estacionamento. Se for bem cuidado será um grande atrativo pro bairro.
The place looks abandoned. Those who are older in the neighborhood say that it was once a wonder, a reference in Água Santa. But the current reality is not that today. You can see that the club has potential, it's big, it has a lake, swimming pool, paintball, church, field and parking. If it is well taken care of, it will be a great attraction for the neighborhood.
