Where: Estação da Luz, São Paulo
How was it: Felt like we were in Harry Potter, how majestic the station was. I (Serge) didn't feel like I was in Brazil anymore. Really nice place that we indadvertedly saw because we were visiting the Portuguese museum.
Grade: Eli = 4, Serge = 5

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely English architecture from back in time where Sao Paulo was the richest coffee exporter in the world. Nowadays, it is a very busy station so do not go there in the rush time... Also if you have some time go to the museum besides it called "Pinacoteca do Estado" (it is free ono Saturdays)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It’s a must-visit place in São Paulo. You’d rather go during day light to get nice pics. It’s a huge station. So if you want to see the classic station stop, it’s easier to get indoors through the streets. Otherwise, you’re gonna walk a while to go upstairs from the other entrances in the underground station.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you forget about the Português background noise, you might even think you’re in the middle of Paddington station in the heart of London! Amazing traditional station that’s jammed full with eager commuters. Be mindful outside the station on either side as there is a decent community of crack heads alongside the road
