★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Como descrever em palavras esse lugar tão especial? Que sorte a nossa poder ter percorrido a dedo o sul da Bahia e ter encontrado o resort Makaira. Desde a nossa recepção, recebidas com água de coco, até o final, que o jardineiro fez questão de presentear minha mãe com uma mudinha de uma planta que ela gostou (plantada no vaso e tudo). Todos os funcionários, sem exceção são muito educados e atentos. Antes mesmo de você pedir, já estão ao seu lado para ajudar. O café da manhã é maravilhoso e o tempero dos pratos do restaurante, excelente! Tudo que você pede é bom. A casquinha de caranguejo e a cocada de forno então, que delícia! Na recepção existe uma estante de livros com diversos best sellers para aproveitarmos durante a estadia. No spa, tivemos a oportunidade de conhecer a Massagem Makaira, que realizada pela mãos milagrosas da massoterapeuta, ajudou a tirar uma dor nas costas que me acompanhava há tempos. Os quartos, com varandinha e rede são muito confeitáveis. E convenhamos, resort a beira mar, uma praia deserta (mesmo, se vi 5 pessoas foi muito), duas piscinas, redes para descansar, quadra de areia, precisa de mais o que? Mesmo chovendo em alguns dias, nada deixou a desejar. Só não conseguimos fazer o passeio de barco oferecido pelo resort pois o rio estava muito cheio (o Makaira fica entre um rio e o mar). Nossas solicitações à recepção foram atendidas com rapidez e cordialidade. Finalizando, todos os dias pela manhã é realizado pela equipe interna de recreação um alongamento e funcional. Como somos adeptas às atividades físicas, foi um dos diferenciais para já iniciarmos o dia diferente. Também nos divertimos no salão de jogos. Nunca vi uma equipe tão educada e prestativa!! Com certeza voltaremos e indico para quem quiser com a absoluta certeza de quem terão dias especiais também.
 How to describe in words this very special place? How lucky we are to have explored the south of Bahia and found the Makaira resort. From our reception, received with coconut water, until the end, the gardener made a point of giving my mother a seedling of a plant she liked (planted in the pot and all). All employees, without exception, are very polite and attentive. Before you even ask, they are there to help. The breakfast is wonderful and the seasoning of the dishes in the restaurant is excellent! Everything you ask for is good. The crab shell and the baked coconut candy, what a delight! At the reception there is a bookcase with several best sellers for us to enjoy during our stay. At the spa, we had the opportunity to get to know the Makaira Massage, which, performed by the miraculous hands of the massage therapist, helped to relieve a pain in my back that had been with me for some time. The rooms, with a small balcony and a hammock, are very comfortable. And let's face it, seaside resort, a deserted beach (even, if I saw 5 people, that was a lot), two swimming pools, hammocks to rest, a sand court, what more do you need? Even raining in a few days, it left nothing to be desired. We just couldn't take the boat trip offered by the resort because the river was too full (the Makaira is between a river and the sea). Our requests to the reception were answered quickly and cordially. Finally, every morning the in-house recreation team performs a functional stretching. As we are adept at physical activities, it was one of the differentials for us to start the day differently. We also had fun in the games room. I have never seen such a polite and helpful staff!! We will definitely come back and I recommend it to anyone who wants to, with the absolute certainty that they will have special days too.

Ar condicionado funcionando muito bem.
Comidas saborosas.
Manutenção: banheiro sem box, banheira não enche completamente, odor de naftalina, melhor manutenção da caixa d'água (ficamos uma tarde sem água e quando voltou, só tinha água fria), espreguiçadeiras na beira do mar são escassas e perigosas (partes quebradas, um senhor chegou a cair quando estava sentado em uma delas)
Organização: melhor distribuição dos garçons para garantir o atendimento, limpeza e não sobrecarregar alguns deles; rever os horários para arrumação dos quartos.
Higiene e segurança sanitária: melhor cuidado nos momentos de refeições, exigindo uso de máscaras quando os hospedes vão se servir ou, ainda, ter um funcionário para servir, deixando os alimentos menos expostos (com o vento, foi comum encontrar fios de cabelo e areia nos alimentos quando fomos comer um pouco mais tarde).
Location: literally, standing on the sand.

Tasty food.
Maintenance: bathroom without shower, bathtub does not fill completely, mothball odor, better maintenance of the water tank (we didn't have water for an afternoon and when he came back, there was only cold water), sun loungers by the sea are scarce and dangerous (broken parts , a man even fell when he was sitting in one of them)
Organization: better distribution of waiters to ensure service, cleanliness and not overload some of them; review the hours for tidying the rooms.
Hygiene and sanitary safety: better care at meal times, requiring the use of masks when guests are going to help themselves, or even having an employee to serve, leaving food less exposed (with the wind, it was common to find hairs and sand food when we went to eat a little later).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ O lugar é lindo e muito agradável. Praia sossegada, funcionários muito educados. Porém está longe de ser um resort. Os quartos são bons. O café da manhã é fraco, repetitivo. O pão estava seco e velho. O café é servido de 8 às 10. Porém às 9 já não tinha quase nada e nem se preocuparam em repor. Nem presunto tinha.. faltam lixeiras e um parquinho para as crianças mais perto dos quartos. A manutenção da piscina acabava muito tarde, por volta das 10 hs. Existe um cardápio diferente para all inclusive e achei o buffet muito fraco. Trabalham com day use, o que não achei legal. A programação infantil no papel estava ótima, porém na prática ela não aconteceu em sua totalidade. Música ao vivo super alta até às 23 hs, um tiro no pé. Escolhi esse hotel justamente pelo sossego e privacidade. Não sei se recomendaria.
The place is beautiful and very pleasant. Quiet beach, very polite staff. But it is far from being a resort. Rooms are fine. Breakfast is poor, repetitive. The bread was dry and stale. Coffee is served from 8 to 10. But at 9 there was almost nothing left and they didn't even bother to replenish it. There wasn't even any ham.. There are no trash cans and a playground for children closer to the rooms. The pool maintenance ended very late, around 10 am. There is a different menu for all inclusive and I found the buffet very weak. They work with day use, which I didn't think was cool. Children's programming on paper was great, but in practice it didn't happen in its entirety. Super loud live music until 11 pm, a shot in the foot. I chose this hotel precisely for the peace and privacy. I don't know if I would recommend it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hotel possui nome de resort, mas falta muito para uma estrutura completa de resort. A estrutura de lazer contempla duas piscinas e nada mais. Para os pequenos tem uma brinquedoteca, porém o espaço precisa de melhores cuidados. O café da manhã é bom. Fizemos as refeições no restaurante. A comida é boa. Os preços do cardápio são condizentes com os quiosques da região. Mas, os quiosques não são acessíveis, pois o hotel é completamente isolado. Por falar em localização, o hotel é um último da avenida beira mar. Portanto, não espere ter acesso fácil à cidade. Somente por taxi (120 reais ida e volta). O hotel é dedicado a quem deseja se isolar do mundo. A praia é deserta. Faixa de areia sem ninguém. Os quartos são bons, mas ficamos sem água quente e trocamos de quarto. Os funcionários são atenciosos. Mas, o destaque mesmo é da equipe da parte da tarde e noite. São mais simpáticos e acessíveis, em especial para a Veronica, João mota e chefe de cozinha Marcio. Sobre escolher entre o café da manhã ou all inclusive, escolhemos somente café. Financeiramente valeu a pena, pois não bebemos bebidas alcoólicas. Almoçamos e jantamos no hotel todos os dias. Bebemos sucos, alguns drinks sem álcool, água de coco, consumimos sem restrições (sem passar vontades de nada) e no final das contas compensou mais fechar somente o café. Mas isso vai de caso a caso. Detalhe é que o cardápio do all inclusive é diferente do cardápio do restaurante. Oferecem poucas opções de passeios. A maioria dos passeios que oferecem é de barco pelo rio. Fizemos o passeio que vai para a parte norte. Encontro do rio com o mar. Foi a melhor parte da estadia. O passeio é sensacional. O sinesio( barqueiro) é fenomenal. Ele nao mede esforços para te agradar. No geral, o hotel vale a pena para quem quer paz e tranquilidade. Não espero luxo, mas, delicie-se com o contato com a natureza bruta.
Hotel has a resort name, but it lacks a lot for a complete resort structure. The leisure structure includes two swimming pools and nothing else. For the little ones, there is a playroom, but the space needs better care. The breakfast is good. We ate at the restaurant. The food is good. The menu prices are in line with the kiosks in the region. But, the kiosks are not accessible as the hotel is completely isolated. Speaking of location, the hotel is at the end of the seaside avenue. So don't expect easy access to the city. Only by taxi (120 reais round trip). The hotel is dedicated to those who want to isolate themselves from the world. The beach is deserted. Strip of sand with no one. Rooms are fine, but we ran out of hot water and changed rooms. The staff are attentive. But, the highlight is the afternoon and night team. They are more friendly and approachable, especially for Veronica, João mota and chef Marcio. About choosing between breakfast or all inclusive, we chose only coffee. Financially it was worth it as we don't drink alcohol. We had lunch and dinner at the hotel every day. We drank juices, some non-alcoholic drinks, coconut water, we consumed without restrictions (without wanting anything) and in the end it was more worth closing just the cafe. But this is case by case. A detail is that the all inclusive menu is different from the restaurant menu. They offer few tour options. Most of the tours they offer are by river boat. We took the tour that goes to the north part. Meeting of the river with the sea. It was the best part of the stay. The tour is sensational. The synesio (boatman) is phenomenal. He goes to great lengths to please you. Overall, the hotel is worth it for anyone looking for peace and quiet. I don't expect luxury, but delight in contact with raw nature.
