★ ★ ★ ★ ★ O restaurante Mama África foi uma ótima surpresa durante a nossa estadia em Cumuruxatiba. Apesar do preço um tanto salgado, os pratos são maravilhosos. Pedimos um prato típico de Angola que lembra muito a tradicional moqueca, porém além do peixe vem acompanhado de legumes, arroz, pirão, todos com um tempero maravilhoso. Também pedimos a caipirinha de mangaba que combinou perfeitamente.
 The Mama Africa restaurant was a great surprise during our stay in Cumuruxatiba. Despite the somewhat salty price, the dishes are wonderful. We ordered a typical Angolan dish that resembles the traditional moqueca, but in addition to the fish comes with vegetables, rice, mush, all with a wonderful seasoning. We also ordered the mangaba caipirinha, which matched perfectly.

Não deixe de experimentar a sobremesa, banana flambada com sorvete artesanal de creme. Imperdível !!!
The restaurant is TOP. Incredible to think of such special food in a village like Cumuruxatiba. Chef Dolores prepares mouth-watering dishes, mixing simplicity with sophisticated flavors. Be sure to try the dessert, banana flambé with handmade cream ice cream. Unmissable !!!

The attendants are attentive and polite. The price of the food is a little high, but everything is fresh and of good quality, in other words, it matches the value.

Pedimos o prato brasileiro (Infantil + ou - R$35,00 é o adulto R$72), tortilha mexicanas e a Muamba de Benguela (R$180). Não curtimos muito o tempero angolano, o pirão parecia um purê, ou não sei se realmente era purê, mas tinha fubá, não gostamos do sabor, mas o peixe estava muito bom, valeu a experiência.
Excellent service, very pleasant atmosphere and high prices like most restaurants in Cumuru, but the portions are generous. We ordered the Brazilian dish (Infantil + or - R$35.00 is R$72 for the adult), Mexican tortillas and Muamba de Benguela (R$180). We didn't really enjoy the Angolan seasoning, the pirão looked like a puree, or I don't know if it really was puree, but there was cornmeal, we didn't like the taste, but the fish was very good, it was worth the experience.
