O ovo cozido no shoyu é servido no ponto Mollet (gema mole). Apenas dando a minha opinião. É assim no mundo inteiro.
First time I visit this restaurant that really brings flavors from Taiwan. But the cuisine is not 100% original to deserve the word “traditional”. I'd say it's more fusion or gourmet than traditional. I ordered a Pururuca Mapu as a starter, a popular Lu Rou Fan as a main and the soy pudding which is the dessert of the day. I took the Apple Cider. Pururuca is the same snack we know well here in Brazil. But very well done, fried evenly, without those hard parts that break the tooth. The flavor of Taiwan is due to the pepper powder with spices that is discreetly spread over the crackling, without exaggeration. Lu Rou Fan is the most authentic dish I have tried. The meat seasoning brings a typical flavor reminiscent of grandma. The boiled egg in soy sauce is served at the Mollet point (soft yolk). In Taiwan, yolks are traditionally eaten well-cooked. The pudding was my biggest surprise. I was expecting the traditional soy pudding with that brown sugar ginger broth that can be served either cold or hot. The Mapu pudding came with a passion fruit sauce which is not bad. But far from the traditional. I was already forgetting about Apple Cider which is a carbonated soft drink very consumed in Taiwan. It's like our Guarana, but with apple flavor and less gas. Above all, I found two big differences between Mapu and a traditionally Taiwanese restaurant. First, the attendants are very friendly and very helpful. Anyone who frequents Taiwanese or Chinese restaurants knows what I'm talking about. I'm not here to defend or harm anyone. Just giving my opinion. We can't fault the restaurant for the long queue. The service is excellent and the food is served quickly. What takes time are the customers who think they have the right to chat, holding the table, even seeing the queue build up outside. Mapu chose to put customers at ease and I cannot criticize a company that chose to serve its customers well. I have more to congratulate the whole team! The second point of difference is about the size of the dishes. And I mean the content and not the container. Taiwanese food is usually very well served, good and cheap style. It is like that all over the world. Travelers won't let me lie. That's why I understand that Mapu may have followed the gourmet path. At least they could offer the option of a large plate for those with a bigger appetite, as the food is good! Even though it's not 100% traditional, it made me rescue good memories and I'll definitely come back more often!

Friendly service and very tasty food. Baos were great and reminded me of travels to Asia. Although I had never been to Taiwan, I visited some Taiwanese restaurants and this place in Sao Paulo is by far the most authentic. The pulled pork bao is very rich in flavours and well served. 2 of them are enough for one person. We ordered for 2 people a total of 2 baos and 1 main dish to share and it was enough. We ordered the noodles, which were also very good.

My favorite Asian restaurant in SP! Taiwan is a foodie’s paradise (one of the main reasons it has a special place in my heart and I have returned many times to the island) and this place nails it 100%. If you have never had a pork belly(pancetta) gua bao... time to make your life better. But the vegetarian options here are just as good, which is hard to do! Cannot go wrong with anything on the menu - everything is awesome, try it all! Sadly no more Taiwanese beef noodle soup due to a more limited menu since the pandemic began, but understandable. Now if only I could find a place that serves 小笼包 all my cravings from Taiwan would be fulfilled... :)

First rate Taiwanese food in SP. I had been wanting to go for a while, and due to the pandemic got take-out instead - excellent packing and instructions to finish at home. I haven't tried the more fusion dishes, but the traditional Taiwanese ones are tasty, perfectly seasoned. The pork bao is to die for, and the dandanmian was probably the best I've had in a while. Highly recommended.

Best Taiwanese food I’ve had in soooo long. I would eat this Bao for the rest of my life if I could (they have 2 different veg options)! So many choices for vegetarians and such reasonable prices. Definitely recommend!
