★ ★ ★ ★ ★ É um paraíso na Terra, lugar simples rústico e por isso a estrutura do lugar é simples porém vc acha tudo, se estiver chovendo ou chovido dias antes vai com paciência pq a estrada e péssima então no mínimo um 4x4 ou se arriscar e ter muito paciência... É por esse motivo que o lugar segue preservado com tanta beleza.
It's a paradise on Earth, simple rustic place and that's why the structure of the place is simple but you can find everything, if it's raining or raining days before go with patience because the road is terrible then at least a 4x4 or take a risk and be very patient ... That's why the place remains so beautifully preserved.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Marau, cidade sede da Península, um lugar extremamente simpático, agradável e com várias paisagens incríveis. Uma cidade essencialmente quilombola e uma galera muito simpática e acolhedora e também com várias construções antigas da época de sua fundação. Vale muito a visita.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ao fazer o passeio de lancha nas ilhas da península de Maraú, vimos do meio do rio um painel bem colorido em uma cidade, mas como estava distante, não deu para ver exatamente o que era. O guia falou que era o município de Maraú. Então, resolvemos ir lá para conhecer sua cultura material, ja que constatamos que o patrimônio natural da península é belíssimo. O mural é realmente encantador, muito colorido e com alto relevo. A cidade estava vazia por conta do feriado de carnaval, mas valeu a pena, pelas fotos ?
When taking a speedboat ride on the islands of the Maraú peninsula, we saw from the middle of the river a very colorful panel in a city, but as it was far away, it was not possible to see exactly what it was. The guide said it was the municipality of Maraú. So, we decided to go there to get to know its material culture, since we found that the natural heritage of the peninsula is very beautiful. The mural is really charming, very colorful and with high relief. The city was empty because of the carnival holiday, but it was worth it, for the photos ?
