Meu pai me levava desde criança, esse lugar tem restaurantes, lanchonetes, lojas de roupas e de vários outros produtos, aqui seu café da manhã e almoço está mais que garantido, a única crítica é que se tiver de caro tem que madrugar pra poder estacionar perto se não, vai ter que caminhar muito.

As barracas da feira livre são todas bagunçadas os corredores deveriam ser obrigatória separar o espaço do feirante (privativo) os clientes ficam confuso onde é que é a frente se pode passar... é estranho isso. Sem falar dos restaurantes que estão servindo
comida feijão queimado e quase azedo, servindo pra os clientes na maior cara de pau. Não é uma comida boa feito no mesmo dia, não tem uma carne assada e bem temperada. Se não melhorar a comida aí gente nunca mais vou comer aí. Eu sou feliz por conhecer Correntina BA onde todos os restaurantes do mercado municipal serve uma comida de primeiríssima qualidade alguns serve até churrasco. Então nota zero pra os restaurantes do mercado municipal de Salinas MG.
I am from Salinas MG, but what I hate most about the municipal market is the lack of organization. The stalls at the open market are all messy the corridors should be mandatory to separate the space from the market (private) the customers are confused where is the front if you can pass... that's strange. Not to mention the restaurants that are serving
food, beans burnt and almost sour, serving customers with the biggest cock face. It's not a good meal made on the same day, it doesn't have a roasted and well-seasoned meat. If the food doesn't improve there, we'll never eat there again. I am happy to know Correntina BA where all the restaurants in the municipal market serve top quality food, some even serve barbecue. So note zero for the restaurants in the municipal market of Salinas MG.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Grande prédio que centraliza a venda de produtos locais, cachaças, frutas, grãos, doces, carnes, verduras e artesanatos com lanchonetes, pastelarias e restaurantes no mezzanino. Pena que a escada de acesso estava suja por dois dias seguidos, só subi porque queria para tirar fotos do alto. Área de alimentação limpa e o seu acesso sujo. É sempre um prazer ver as cores e sentir o aroma desses locais. Colheres e copinhos de madeira escritos com nome da cidade por seis reais. Tem um minishopping ao lado.

Na ocasião foi concebido para abrigar vendedores e compradores de produtos da agricultura familiar, muito embora à época esse termo não existisse. Hoje o Mercado é ponto de encontro desses mesmos atores que buscam a troca de bens e produtos, além da troca de afeto, de cultura, de informação e experiências.
O turista que visita o mercado encontra boa comida com preço acessível, artesanato, legumes, verduras, frutas, laticínios e doces produzidos na região. O Mercado esta situado no centro da cidade, cujo acesso pode ser feito pela Avenida Floripes Crispim, para quem chega a cidade pela BR 251, e pela Avenida Antonio Carlos pelo Anel Rodoviário e BR 342.
