★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Mirante do Xaréu (Xaréu's Lookout) is located in a rock point between the Rio das Contas river estuary and the Concha beach.
It's a beautiful place to contemplate the sunset, looking at the river side. And by looking at the beach side, you can watch the moonrise and the lights of the city's lighthouse.
During the summer high season and holidays this location can become overwhelmed crowded.
However during the majority afternoons of the year it's becomes into a quiet and safe place to enjoy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An incredible spot to come watch the sunset! It overlooks the charming city center, the ocean, and the beautiful 360 view of the surrounding beaches. We stumbled upon here by accident literally just moments before the sunset and it was the perfect time to capture the most breath taking photo! Happy we found it! Definitely recommend coming here with your sweetheart for a romantic sunset date.
