Place was packed and for what? Replica models, designs and paintings? Goes to show how deprived the Sao Paulo people are of quality, thoughtful, well produced, unique art exhibits. Great to see ppl out of the shopping malls tho. ;)

It is slightly different as it used to be a tv recording studio. Persons who work there are very helpful, they are always friendly. You can find a well organized place that is clean. The restrooms are also clean and there is also a handicap restroom. The best option to go there is by taxi, as in the nearby is difficult to park.

I believe a museum is as good as it's exibits. I went to the DaVinci, and it was great, but the space itself... It's far, doesn't matter where you are! Just a big warehouse in the middle of nowhere: far from the subway (there was a free shuttle service during the DaVinci event); not a junk food joint in sight; parking seems to be easy, thought... If there's another huge event it's worth the hassle to travel to the just average museum space.

LEONARDO DA VINCI: 500 YEARS OF A GENIUS - MIS Experience is a venue adapted for hosting interactive and immersive exhibits. The exhibit chosen to inaugurate the space is Leonardo da Vinci, the largest ever held on the Italian artist. it's amazing experiences. Strongly recommended.

The graffitied walls by Kobra, a São Paulo artist, are definitely the best part of this visit. MIS is a museum which usually sets exhibitions with didatic and informative material, bringing many original pieces and interactive explanations to the public. This is not the case. The pieces are mostly focused on Leonardo Da Vinci's Engineering works, however most of them were described in a very technical way, and the general public could not understand the functioning. The pieces were not original, yet the public cannot touch them. There are no videos demonstrating Leo's innovative inventions either. Staff didn't let us know that there were audioguides for many of the works, so we found this out in the middle of the visit, and luckly we had earphones to enjoy the extra material. The paintings room and the one where videos about his greatest works show the art experience I expected from the entire expo, but unfortunately I was left with little to explore about Leo's engineer abilities. The ticket is also more expensive than the average for São Paulo and even MIS itself attractions, so I was very disappointed with my art experience. I wouldn't recommend this when for the same amount of money one could take the subway and go to MASP. My deception is regarding this exhibition only, as MIS set a very high bar on art exhibitions for the past year. The main museum is always worth the visit, whilst the experience can bring a wrong impression of the great work previously done.

It's an excellent gallery about a Genius called Leonard Da Vinci. The Father of Aviation from Italy. I recommend for everyone visit it.

Went for a Portinari exposition, it was great, but lacked of some of the advertised technology side, and some games were too simple or malfunctioning. It's an art exposition, there were too many children, I don't think is the best place to bring them. The Portinari story and paintings were well presented, and it was a big room with the paintings projected on gigantic screens. It seemed too short for the price.
