★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great seafood restaurant with a great atmosphere. You get what you pay for her prices are what you'd expect for a high end place. Seafood was fresh and succulent. Wine offerings were off the charts. Waiter recommend the small buffet bar which won't disappoint, it had varieties of cheeses, meats, fish, and veggies great for appetizers. Dessert was also very delicious I had the chocolate cake with cinnamon ice cream. The only short coming was the lack of single glass offerings for wine. I was traveling for work and wanted to have a couple big different glasses, but waiter recommend a couple of half bottles which were really good.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We arrived at the Restaurant quite early as a family with two kids. Although, admittedly, the food was good, the service was really lacking. We have waited one and a half hour for our food. The food for the children, a simple Carbonara, was served last. Small requests were simply forgotten or ignored.
I have never written a bad rating before, but I needed to write this on behalf of my family.
Unfortunately, service-wise, the restaurant doesn't live up to its reputation.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing dinner experience. The food is perfectly prepared, the grilled octopus was flawless, tender and very flavorful. Everything we had was just spectacular including the lobster dishes and antipasti. Service was also very friendly and efficient. In my opinion this is the best restaurant in Salvador.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mistura is a beautiful Italian restaurant in the neighborhood of Itapuã in the city of Salvador, Bahia. The waiter told me that the restaurant has been open for 26 years, and after eating here, I understand why.
We started with some raw oysters and some gratinéed oysters in Prosecco. Both were delicious. We then tried a seafood stew and everything was cooked perfectly; my wife ordered some fried seafood, which included soft-shell crab, squid, shrimp and octopus and it was all great.
I had handmade squid ink pasta with crawfish and shrimp (the waiter said all their pasta is made in-house). The sauce was delicious and the pasta was al dente. We finished with tiramisu which was also delicious.
The service is very good and the décor is tasteful. The restaurant is surrounded by tropical plants and coconut palms, giving it a romantic feel.
I would definitely eat here again and I’d recommend Mistura if you’re in the area.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent quality for the price. I know this is pricy for bahia (180 reais per person drinks and coffee included) however for the amount of food it is amazing. 3 starters one main dish and one dessert all well served. Go for a late lunch and make it a dinner also.
At the first starter dont miss the lagosta calda. Amazing.
