★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A cachoeira dos macacos é a mais bonita das 3 cachoeiras de Maromba. O fosso é pequenino, só para de refrescar mesmo, não dá para nadar, mas o visual compensa a trilha! Ao chegar à cachoeira do escorrega, você vai ter lugar para estacionar. A cachoeira dos macacos fica a 10/15 minutos de trilha subindo. A trilha é muito fácil e bem sinalizada, e só no início é que tem uma subida na estrada de terra, depois é bem tranquilo, até mesmo para idosos e crianças. Fui com meu marido, e um casal de tios acima dos 60, e os dois fizeram o trajeto com tranquilidade!
 The monkey waterfall is the most beautiful of the 3 waterfalls in Maromba. The moat is tiny, it just stops refreshing, you can't swim, but the view makes up for the trail! When you reach the waterfall from the slide, you will have a parking space. The monkey waterfall is a 10/15 minute uphill trail. The trail is very easy and well signposted, and only at the beginning is there a climb on the dirt road, then it is very quiet, even for the elderly and children. I went with my husband, and a couple of uncles over 60, and the two made the journey with ease!

The waterfall is after Cachoeira do Escorrega, going up towards Itatiaia Park. Location is inside the forest, without infrastructure.

Fica uns 10 minutos acima da cachoeira do escorrega, continuando pela estrada e depois uma pequena trilha.
Tem indicação em praticamente todo percurso.

It is about 10 minutes above the waterfall of the slide, continuing along the road and then a small trail.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A Cachoeira dos Macacos fica um pouco mais acima da famosa Cachoeira do Escorrega em Maromba-RJ na região de Visconde de Mauá. O acesso é feito subindo pela estradinha a esquerda da Cachoeira do Escorrega e depois entrando em uma curta trilha a direita da estradinha. A entrada da trilha possui placa indicativa com o nome da Cachoeira.
The Cachoeira dos Macacos is a little higher than the famous Cachoeira do Escorrega in Maromba-RJ in the region of Visconde de Mauá. Access is made by going up the road to the left of Cachoeira do Escorrega and then entering a short trail to the right of the road. The trail entrance has a sign indicating the name of the waterfall.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fomos num domingo de manhã de ser/2021 tinha apenas uma família lá. Não precisa de guia para acessar e não tinha taxa, seguimos as placas de sinalização foi fácil chegar lá. Cuidado com as pedras escorregadias. Não mergulhei no poço, porque não dava para sabe a profundidade. Super tranquilo! Adorei o passeio!
We went on a Sunday morning in Ser/2021 there was only one family there. You don't need a guide to access it and there was no fee, we followed the signs and it was easy to get there. Watch out for slippery rocks. I didn't dive into the well, because I couldn't tell the depth. Super calm! I loved the tour!
