★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Um lugar fantástico com uma energia especial. Palco de batalha entre brasileiros e holandeses quando o sentimento de nação ainda estava surgindo no Brasil. Infelizmente está esquecido pelas autoridades públicas, que podiam explorar melhor o turismo na área. A Vista de cima das pedras é espetacular.
 A fantastic place with a special energy. Battle stage between Brazilians and Dutch when the feeling of nation was still emerging in Brazil. Unfortunately it is overlooked by public authorities, who could better explore tourism in the area. The view from the top of the rocks is spectacular.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Estive aqui ainda de forma mais surpreendente. Com os Arautos do Evangelho, onde Padre Roberto Takeshi celebrou uma Missa, enquanto Padre André Moura fazia Confissão, incrível a fé e seriedade deles.
I was here even more surprisingly. With the Heralds of the Gospel, where Father Roberto Takeshi celebrated Mass, while Father André Moura made Confession, their faith and seriousness was incredible.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ No local não existe um museu, apenas uma pequena capela vazia e uma escola de ensino fundamental. Foi nesse lugar que em 3 de agosto de 1645 aconteceu a primeira batalha entre os Holandeses que, na época dominavam Pernambuco, e os Portugueses saindo vencedores esses últimos. O passeio vale mais pela paisagem e visitação de local historico.
There is no museum on site, just a small empty chapel and an elementary school. It was in this place that on August 3, 1645, the first battle took place between the Dutch who, at the time, dominated Pernambuco, and the Portuguese who were victors. The tour is worth more for the landscape and visitation of historical site.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ O lugar não tem muita coisa pra se fazer.
Há uma capelinha, um mirante que você vê uma paisagem linda de lá e uma trilha descendo pra chegar até uma parte onde passa um rio que, diga-se de passagem, aparenta ser poluído pelas empresas que ficam ao redor.
Na volta, a subida é cansativa, principalmente para quem não tem costume de trilhas.
The place doesn't have much to do.
There is a chapel, a lookout where you can see a beautiful landscape from there, and a trail descending to reach a part where a river passes that, by the way, appears to be polluted by the companies that are around.
On the way back, the climb is tiring, especially for those who are not used to hiking.

Uma história não só da localidade, mas um fator decisivo para Pernambuco. O que falta é a manutenção do acesso por veículo, quando fui também não tinha guia ou alguém para transmitir informações.
An air of spirituality for the history of the noble struggle for the defense of the region and for the union between whites, blacks and indigenous people. A history not only of the locality, but a decisive factor for Pernambuco. What is lacking is the maintenance of access by vehicle, when I went there was also no guide or someone to transmit information.
