★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The best "rent a car" in Brasil the people are nice, the service is good, the price is one of the best. They took us from airport till the car and from the car till airport. You can take the car in a store and give it back in a other one without pay for this!!

Atencao! Cuidado pra quem voce passa os dados do seu cartao de credito! O pessoal da Movida Washington Luiz é super atencioso. Até a hora que aparece uma multa que ninguém sabe explicar. Tente entrar em contato com a gerente Erika para receber o estorno de mais de mil reais quando você já não está mais em São Paulo e fique sonhando com uma explicação. Meus familiares tentam entrar em contato e ninguém responde para explicar como uma multa de 2016 pode ser cobrada para um carro alugado no final de Abril de 2017. Enquanto isso meu dinheiro fica em poder da Movida. Mais de R$1200.00 - Até quando, Erika?
Had my car towed away and was happy to pay for the expenses, which were sent to me a few weeks later. An excess of 3 extra days on top of the 5 I hired the car were charged by mistake with the costs of the towed car. The manager was very helpful at first, until i noticed that there was a $85 fine added to the bill. The fine was dated to 2016, and I hired the car in April 2017. Now I'm overseas, and the manager simply does not reply to my emails or WhatsApp messages. My sister lives in Brazil and has been trying for more than a week. All we get is "i'll get back to you", "just one moment please", and we keep on waiting. Meanwhile theres more than R$1000 reais to be refunded to my Credit Card, i've paid interest already on the first charges, and Erika, the store Manager and a bunch of other people from what I imagine is "Head Office", all keep avoiding us. How long more are you going to drag this for Erika? What is there to hide?

Then Eduardo and Emerson saved the situation right when I was going to ask for a ride back to airport or another rental agency. Hope they get more employees like Eduardo & Emerson - thank you guys for saving my rental/afternoon...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Update, deadbeats started charging my credit card without authorization or any explanation, also never credited the pre-authorization charges of $500 back to my card AVOID AT ALL COSTS !!!!! thiefs. Original post - (flight delay and lost my rental reservation, tried to rent another on spot and they could not print a new contract because their system close after 9 PM on a location that is open 24/7, ridiculous) but better than Localiza that will keep billing you for fake traffic tickets, rented a car year ago and still getting emails from Localiza with NEW traffic tickets...AVOID LOCALIZA BY ALL COSTS, you are welcome!!
