★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 1) Could not book through website or app - despite multiple attempts to book through both the movida website and Android app, we were unable to complete the booking due to website issues (errors and not completing payment) SAC was unable to assist with this and we booked via phone, which cost us more money than would have via the internet/app.
2) Could not use voucher obtained through reward points - Reward points (500) were redeemed to use for an extra driver. The voucher that was sent was unable to be used and a SAC attendent advised that the code was invalid and that a new one was required. When we contacted the rewards area in movida, they advises they couldn't help, so we have lost the reward points.
3) Lack of helpfulness by SAC to resolve problem with reward points issue - The attendant wanted an email from the previous SAC attendant who advised the code was invalid, and wouldn't help resolve the issues, despite having the whole frustrating situation explained to her.
4) Inability of booking system, at shop, to accept my passport number for identification as second driver - When trying to collect the car, the booking system wouldn't allow me to use my passport s ID; the letters at the beginning of my passport number were not accepted by the booking system. The attendant at the shop even suggested to not to get the extra driver option. In the end, I was put as the main driver and my partner as the second driver.
The inability for Movida's systems to work properly cost us about 6hrs of our time to book one car. Very unsatisfactory experience overall.

I came from London UK, and I had a reservation that was fully paid for, and also paid for full cover, and when I went to get the car this morning they said I didn’t pass the reference check and I was unable to get the car
The funny thing is I went next door and they rented me a car with no problem, and rented before with Foco and Localiza, and naw with Unidas, never had problem.
If you are planning a trip with your family think twice before you ret a car with this people.
