O prédio em si já é uma obra de arte sacra tendo sido sede do antigo Colégio Jesuíta e hoje é parte do Palácio Episcopal.
Beautiful museum with excellent guides. Very good the chronology presented.
The building itself is already a work of sacred art and was the seat of the former Jesuit College and is now part of the Episcopal Palace.

Não se arrependem de conhecer, eh lindo o museu.
It was one of the most beautiful experiences I had in SLZ, getting to know the history in depth from that moment that Brazil suffered so much influence from other countries, until reaching its characteristics of sacred art, taking the Brazilian traces to the works seen. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ O museu é bem interessante e os guias muito atenciosos. Porém no local não há ar condicionado e todas as janelas permanecem fechadas, de modo que o local fica parecendo uma sauna. Isso prejudicou a visita.
The museum is very interesting and the guides are very attentive. However, there is no air conditioning in the place and all the windows are closed, so the place looks like a sauna. This hindered the visit.
