The place is a very organized, clean and prepared historical memorandum for visitors. The tools, clothes and accessories of the miners are shown, where they slept and what they ate, in addition to several other things. A fee of R$ 10.00 is charged for contribution and maintenance of the site.

Este museu é bem pequeno, mas acho que vale a pena visitar, principalmente para pessoas que se interessam pela história do garimpo. Em seu acervo, tem algumas amostras de rochas, de maquinários que lapidavam os diamantes, alguns materiais históricos, isso tudo na casa do Diamante. Tem a escala de dureza dos minerais, sendo que o único que é réplica é o diamante (certamente por motivos óbvios). Próximo à casa do Diamante, tem um local (bem simples e sem muitas coisas), tem um exemplo de "Toca", local onde os garimpeiros descansavam e preparavam refeições. Cobra-se uma taxa de visitação de R$10,00. O acesso é super fácil, pois do local onde deixa o carro até a Casa do Diamante o caminho é curto e fácil. A paisagem no entorno é linda e vale várias fotos.
A little bit of the history of the gold mining in Chapada Diamantina!
This museum is quite small, but I think it is worth visiting, especially for people interested in the history of gold mining. In its collection, it has some samples of rocks, of machines that lapidavam the diamonds, some historical materials, all this in the house of Diamond. It has the scale of hardness of minerals, and the only one that is replica is the diamond (certainly for obvious reasons). Near the house of the Diamond, it has a place (very simple and without many things), it has an example of "Toca", place where the garimpeiros rested and prepared meals. We charge a visitation fee of R $ 10.00. The access is super easy, because from the place where you leave the car to the Diamond House the way is short and easy. The surrounding landscape is beautiful and worth several photos.
