★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We already knew TripAdvisor for restaurants cannot be trusted, but I am still shocked that this place is no.1 Japanese on TripAdvisor. Most of the fishes were nowhere near fresh, I tried maybe 7 different sushis and only salmon was ok. They didn't seem to know any other seasoning other than soy sauce and super sweet teriyaki. The tuna tartar with ovas was just cubes of tuna dunked in soy sauce, shocking. Gyoza was soggy. Also, the picture of the venue might look nice, but there was zero ambiance, felt like a canteen with bright light and people's loud chatter with super faint music in the background, I went on a Sunday night so don't know if it's always like this. And this less than mediocre food wasn't even cheap.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Superb address for real Japanese food afficionados. Ranging from classic sushi and sashimi to the chef's own creations. Bonus is the variety of fish and other seafoods ranging well beyond salmon and tuna. Simply excellent. A little pricy but quality is worth it.
